I would like them to get 3rd behind Arsenal and Kobenhavn, so they can think fuck we just paid 100M for Higuain who scored 1 goal in group stages.

If Madrid offers 70m + Kroos for Pogba, I'd take it over the 120 mill cash MU is offering.

Sure, Kroos > Pogba. His agent even said that if Pogba costs 120M then Toni should be valued at 240 and he's right. Real aren't that stupid though.

Meh, Kroos is shit defensively. He's definitely a better passer than Pogba, but Pogba is more well rounded. I could understand both Kroos > Pogba, and Pogba > Kroos, arguments. RM however needs a physical mid. They got enough passing prowess. Pogba also has another 3 years on him.

He would suit RM so well too. Goals galore with his late runs

They don't have to be better than those teams to win the champions. The league and Coppa will be as easy as 1,2,3. Forza Juve.

Won't lie, if they win the treble there's a VERY good chance we could get our 4th qualification spot back...

And Inter will finish 5th :fuckyea: :awyeah:

Yeah, you don't have to be the best team before the season to win the treble. We won the treble and hell no we were the best team before the season. :D

Breel Embolo to Schalke for 25 million. That's relatively cheap and I think he can become a reqlly good player.

Napoli and Juventus confirm Higuain singing. 90 Million Euros and 7.5 Million wages? Too high for a player who won't make much difference for them. They will win Serie A anyways and he won't be a difference maker in CL.

I'm pretty sure Higuain will be a difference maker for them in the CL. Maybe not for winning it but who they have there after Higuain? Dybala and Mandzukic. I'd say he's a hell of a difference maker.

The price is of course nothing sort of ridiculous. But it's also a proof of showing power. That they are back big time, they can pay 90m€ for a player they want to get.

Marrotta has bought up a team of hungry fuckers for trophies and glory thats for sure. Look at Higuain, Pjanic, Benatia , they have been really close recently, their newcomers, Pjaca is too young but still motivated young gun. Look at the Juve backline and team in general. They have aging backline and its now or never for the CL. Its very similar to our Inter 09/10 where we were in our prime and ultimately ready for the top prize, knocking out everyone on our way and all were champions. Higuain is their Milito. But he doesnt have Militos mentality, much weaker. Well see how he goes in CL. 90 Millions are on his shoulders. Also all the investment this summer, its clear the whole Juve hierarchy wants everything now, CL, Serie A tripletta you name it. Lets see how Allegri holds out. I think he will be beat up against the big boys in final moments. But they have their best chance.

Juve will potentially be able to play much better football with Higuain than Mandzukic imo. Whether he chokes as much as he typically does is anyone's guess, but they should at least be able to retain possession better, hit on the counter more effectively, and generally have a more rounded attack. Although, I certainly wouldn't bet against Higuain missing a sitter which puts Juve out of the CL.

Bayern won the CL with Mandzukic and haven't since. Sometimes a more direct target man is just better. It depends on the team. I don't know if Rube keeping even more possession will be more advantageous.

Yeah, and they still have that man on the bench. The best place for a direct target man imo. And it's not about having more possession, it's about having a player who when in possession is capable of more. How many attacks are ruined because Mandzukic is slow as an ant or can't do anything more than a simply lay off (he is very good at that though)? Higuain is easily the better man to build attacks with. Whether he is the better man to finish them is something else entirely.

I will say that they'll miss Mandzukic's ridiculous work ethic. There is probably not a striker in Europe that works harder

As for Bayern. They played with two of the most inform wingers in the world the season they won the CL with Mandzukic. Juve is going to be playing 352 or 4312. As good as Sandro and Alves are they're not going to be able to take advantage of Mandzukic's aerial prowess nearly as much as Bayern did when they won the CL
