Atletico, BVB, Arsenal, Porto, Fiorentina to some extent are all teams that we should be learning from.
Good system/coach/scouting to make players look good and to take better ones when they're sold + income.
We are still stuck somewhere between the money spenders and the smart teams and so far we aren't doing neither properly.
Ansaldi is having his medical exam in Atletico.... Too many different rumored prices, so i'd just wait to see more defined one. But that was fast. Thats how you work.
I'm talking about NOW and the fucking future.Fiorentina
Haven't won Serie A since the '69 season
Haven't won the Coppa Italia since 2001
Haven't won European Cup since the 60s
Their ability to be a farm system for bigger clubs is amazing, yet I'll pass
Arsenal
Went 9 years without sniffing a trophy
It's common sense to say teams need to be good at scouting and growing players internally.
I'm talking about NOW and the fucking future.
What makes you think we will sniff a trophy in the next 25 years in the current situation we're in?
Well in a couple of years Genoa and Cagliari might be the powerhouses of Italian football, who knows, bought by rich Arabs and shit? The fact that 25 years is a very long time in football?

Man...this AM suckfest is getting a little annoying.
Can you imagine the uproar if we sold Sneijder, Eto'o, Maicon etc right off the back of that season?
By the fans... Who the hell asks the fans? If Moratti was smart, would have done that. instead, he saw his players as sons, one of his biggest mistakes.
Also, those eventual moves would have been bashed in the moment it happened, but if worked out well afterwards, moratti and the management would have been praised. I mean, they were shitting on the management for getting us eto at the cost of Ibra
I also never said we should have sold every player of ours. Just those that were in the end of their career, like Maicon, Eto or Milito. Sneijder and Motta were different as they were younger.
I don't think we could never have sold them after that magical treble year. You can be smart now but still no... and all of them have had pretty good career after the treble. Motta would still be the best midfielder at Inter, Milito scored 24 goals in Serie A in season 11-12, Maicon seemed to fade away in ManC but is doing pretty good at Roma, Etoo scored 37 goals in every competition in season 10-11. Sneijder is IMO the only one when you look it afterwards who would have been wise to sell right after the treble. He needed Mourinho the most.
