Very interesting .Goal.com said:Lotito: Lazio Have Never Received An Offer For Pandev
Lazio chief Lotito has reacted angrily to reports claiming his side received an offer for Pandev...
Lazio president Claudio Lotito has rubbished reports claiming Zenit St Petersburg made an offer for Goran Pandev as he tries to clarify recent rumours.
On Tuesday reports in the Italian press claimed Zenit had sent an intermediary to make an offer for the Macedonian striker. Sky Sport Italia claimed the bid was around €15 million just hours after the initial reports.
However, those voices seem less than deft as Lotito claims he has never received any bid from the Russian side.
"I have not received any formal offer from Zenit for Pandev," Lotito told La Repubblica.
"Someone called me on the phone, but it seemed as if they were an interpreter. I am Lazio's president not the president of Borgo Rosso football club.
"I would prefer to speak with the president of Zenit or an official representative."
Pandev earlier claimed he lets Lotito do the talking and the president certainly has.
The chief's Borgo Rosso claim was in reference to an Italian comedy film about an imaginary football club during the 1970s whose president was not serious, and the fictitious club was a disaster.

The young Frenchman seems set to seal a move to the Theatre of Dreams...
Manchester United are apparetnyl closing in on a £3 million deal for Girondins de Bordeaux winger Gabriel Obertan.
Sky Sports report that the 20-year-old is believed to have undertaken a medical in Manchester and could secure a move to the Premier League champions shortly.
Sir Alex Ferguson has acted quickly and has nullified reported interest from Arsenal, Inter and AC Milan, as the France Under-21 International has reportedly agreed terms on a four-year-deal to join up with United.
Bordeaux manager, former Manchester United defender Laurent Blanc, recently admitted he was surprised by United's approach after poor performances led to him sending Obertan on loan to FC Lorient for the second half of last season.
"I was surprised too, but it is an unexpected chance for him to play with one of the best clubs in the world," he told Europe1
"He has the potential, but he must overcome psychological and mental challenges so he can express his true value."
Obertan has just be named Most Valuable Player at the Toulon international youth tournament, in which his French side finished second to Chilie.
Ya, Liverpool want too much for Xabi...funny, I didn't think the words "too much money" were in the Real Madrid vocabulary...
.Goal.com said:Milan Edging Closer To Sevilla Star Luis Fabiano
The Brazilian’s representative is confident the Rossoneri will up the ante and a deal could be finalised as early as next week.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admitted yesterday that Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano is the only name left on their summer shopping list after signing USA defender Oguchi Oniewu on a free transfer earlier this week.
After failing to land Wolfsburg ace Edin Dzeko, the Rossoneri have turned their attention to the 28-year-old Brazilian international, but their initial offer was rejected by the Spanish club.
“Negotiations are underway between Milan and Sevilla, we are simply witnesses for the time being,” agent Jose Fuentes revealed to Sky Sport 24.
“Milan have lodged an official offer of €14 million with Sevilla, but it was not accepted. Let’s hope that Milan will now up their bid in order to reach an agreement.
“I am optimistic in life, the affair can end well. There is a meeting scheduled shortly, an agreement is close. Something could happen next week, we obviously hope that an agreement will be reached as soon as possible.”
Sevilla are believed to be holding out for at least €20m for their prized asset.
“That should be the right price, but an agreement could be struck at a lower figure,” concluded Fuentes.
.Goal.com said:EXCLUSIVE: Barcelona To Sign David Villa From Valencia
Barcelona are set to make their first summer signing and it is the one that they wanted most...
Barcelona and Valencia have reached a deal that will see David Villa move to Camp Nou and are expected to make an announcement soon, Goal.com has learned.
A source close to Camp Nou has revealed exclusively to this website that the Spanish international striker has had his wish granted and he will join the European champions this summer.
Negotiations have been ongoing between Barça and Valencia and the Catalan club's president Joan Laporta even revealed that a bid had been made during a television interview on Wednesday evening.
Now Goal.com has been told that a deal has been struck and that Villa will be a Barcelona player, although no details of the fee or any of the Blaugrana's squad going in the other direction was divulged.
Laporta suggested that a offer of over €40million had been made and that, allied with los Che's new chief Vicente Soriano's promise to let the player go this year, has meant the treble winners have their man.
The arrival of Villa could speed up the departure of Samuel Eto'o, with both Manchester United and Manchester City linked with the Cameroonian striker, who was Barca's top league scorer last term.
Real Madrid opted not to pursue Villa after being told that he was not for sale and instead forked out a fee of up to €41million to sign Karim Benzema from Olympique Lyonnais.
.Goal.com said:Karim Benzema Thanks Florentino Perez At Official Real Madrid Presentation
The former Lyon striker was officially presented as a player exactly eight years after Zinedine Zidane's unveiling...
In the fourth player presentation in the space of just nine days, Karim Benzema attracted nearly 15,000 people to the Santiago Bernabeu.
With Kaka choosing '8' as his number, Raul Albiol picking up the No.18 shirt and Cristiano Ronaldo the famous No.9 jersey, there were no available options for the 21-year-old striker, who was presented in a numberless shirt.
Benzema will have to wait for one of his team-mates to depart the club to have a number at his disposal, with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's No.19 shirt being a likely option.
Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez introduced Benzema as "the best young player in the French league", with the striker then thanking the opportunity to play at "the best club in the world".
"I am very happy to play in the same club as my idols, Zidane and Ronaldo. Thank you Florentino Perez," he added.
