INTER 2009/10 !
Darn, what a blow! Assuming that Muntari, Deki, Vieira, Motta and Zanetti, are now candidates for 4 places, we will get a new CM 100%.. 5 players, for 4 spots are just not enough.. Knowing we can't count on Vieira being fit all the season, it's even more frightening..

Get well soon Cuchu! We'll miss you!

What a blow, what a fucking blow. I feel like my heart's been ripped out of my chest.

He missed the first few months of 06/07 season too, I hope this injuries aren't becoming a regular thing for Il Cuchu.

Suddenly, the T.Motta purchase looks much better already, though I prefer Zanetti or Stankovic (He played the role superbly in 06/07) in that DM spot. Vieira is junk in all manners of the word and even if all of our midfielders are injured, I'd still want to put him in Recycle Bin.

It's a blow, but we've done without Cambiasso before, and we can do it again. It's not as if he's instrumental to either our attack or defense. He doesn't set the pace and he doesn't direct the play. He basicly works hard and helps out in defense. We can replace his hard work with many players in our squad. Granted they won't be as good at cutting out passes as Cambiasso but they can contribute other stuff.

It's probably a horrible thing to say but I'm actually quite excited I'm gonna get to see an Inter midfield without Zanetti and Cambiasso. That's of course if Mourinho doesn't come up with the ingenious idea of playing Zanetti in Cuchu's position.

I've read at interfans he will be back for the third game(after the NT break), and that it's really nothing serious.

Dejan did very well in TIM Trophy when he came on for Cuchus position, so there is nothing to worry about.

Inter is the car, Cambiasso is the engine. Ibra was the turbocharger. J.Z. is the petrol, players like Balo, Deki are the spark plugs. J.Cesar is the airbag.

 Brilliant metaphor.

You're right, but sometimes a new engine can boost your performance, even if the old one is working perfectly, and you have a sentimental attachment to it. ;)

inter's car isnt a car

its a motherfucking 20 tonne mack truck with a 15L engine

cambiasso, zanetti, muntari, deki are just 1 huge engine

everyone else are the wheels

with the exception of ibra, who is the NOS, cos he cant bring inter to a higher gear over the entire course of a game, only in short bursts

It sucks that he gets injured, and I think we will be playing Milan in the 2nd round of Seria A.. Couldve been helpful but we have other options Like Motta and Vieira (Yuck)..
Hope you get better fast

Adriano depends on what part of his body you focus on. He had a lot of junk in the trunk, but some nice beer belly as well. I'd vote for the rear brake. Burdisso uses his studs in every situation anyway. He'll do as mascot/destroyer/front brake. Rivas helps everywhere. He is guy who didn't fasten the screws on the wheel tight enough.
