Not when you have Moratti like president and family like club. But when a dickhead like Thohir, Roman, Sheikh, drunk russian fuck own you, its all about trophies.

You will see soon, most of our family like atmosphere will be gone. Just watching over results.

No more asado gatherings.

Jimmerfr is gonna jump with joy.

Lol, Leo is one of the most experienced high level sporting directors in world football atm. His nearly 10 years with Milan as a head of scouts is forgotten too much.

As a scout, yeah, but his track record as sporting director isn't too impressive. He was only a sporting director for Milan for a season and a half. And at PSG, he's just bought a bunch of expensive and well-known players who haven't really gelled into a cohesive team.

just went to indonesian jube forum
most of them were mad at this statement and ask for clarification and apology
it's not "right or wrong it is my club" if it is already cross the nationalism sentiment

some of the comments:
1. one states that he have been supporting jube for 20 years and still thinking that jokowi-ahok (jakarta's governor and vice governor) need to slap agnelli back and forth
2. there is no way jube will have tour to indonesia after this statement (lost market, ouch)
3. moderate one: feel dissapointed, be careful with your mouth, love jube not agnelli (how come you love something that mock you???)

and of course the most typical comment: jancok (f*ck) agnelli

I laughed at them
their own club president did not value them
what a scum

Scout, not director.

Not that he is not good or that i don't want him, all i'm saying is that even if he comes, don't expect him doing miracles. We will still have limited budget even if Thohir makes some cash injection.

oh and btw, he officially retired in 2003, that's 10 years back. He was coach for 2 years, and director since 2007 or 2008. He was scout for few years only, how you counted nearly 10 is beyond me.

Transfer Guru
1. Wintermercato
  • Branca out, Leo in.
  • TOP priorities : Nianggolan, Isla
  • Do not renew Chivu, Mudingayi, Milito (sadly but must lower or go), Cuchu (Same), Zanetti (Staff), Castellazzi, ..
  • Give Mazzarri the players he wants.

2. Stadium Project
3. Youth centre improve

I rather keep Branca than get Leo, to be honest. Leo seems a bit confused about what he wants to be, a sporting director or a coach. And when we had some money, Branca did reasonably well (Cesar, Maicon, Sneijder, Lucio, Milito, Motta, Eto'o, etc). Considering our budget limitations in the last year or so, I don't think we have done that badly on transfers.

If we can get a top sporting director, sure. But Leo, no thanks...

Leo said he won't come as a director, and wherever he goes it will be as a coach.

But i think change is needed. I am sure Branca gets some undeserved flame around here and all, but change IS needed. We need fresh faces in the management with fresh ideas. And i still want Marino :hopeful:

I'd rather bring back Lele Oriali than getting Leo.

The 2009 mercato was Oriali's masterpiece.

Not this again. :(

Oriali was Brancas right hand, of huge help, but NOT in charge of the transfers. He was the middleman between the players and the management ffs. Not one transfer is his.

Really ? I always thought it was Oriali's doing, because since he's gone, well this is pretty shitty.

And we've got some money, we were spending like 20 millions per mercato.

Well, my bad, then let's just bring back Oriali and make him Branca's right hand. Oh but Lele framed Branca when he was fired if I remember correctly.

Well ... I guess it's now settled.

:D

Yeah, Oriali had huge deal in the harmony, but he wasn't incharge of the transfer. Branca is since 2003 (was scout in 2002). GOt promoted to technical director in 2003 where he stayed here. Oriali was his assistant and right hand, often said to be negotiating contract renewals. But never the transfers themselves.

He did left because of branca to some extend tho. It was said that after 2010 when Benitez came, Branca didn't want to back Oriali back, and didn't listen to him, so he kinda pushed the guy away, so Lele left. God know what was really happening.

Benitez wanted his man (Carboni) there and Oriali became sort of "useless".

Yeah, that was the start of it. But Branca coul've said no, and he didn't, he also didn't listen to Oriali (Lele himself said it)... THat's why i said he left becaose of Branca to some extend. But Rafa was the main reason.

Just look at the other teams in the league.

Just look at those transfers too

Pastore: 42 mils
Matuidi: 10 mils
Menez: 10 mils?
Gamerio: 12 + 3 = 15 mils.
Lucas: 43 mils
Lavezzi: 26 mils
Ibra + Thiago: 57 mils
Digne: 15 mils
Marquinhos: 34 mils
Cavani: 65 mils

In 2 years... FFS, look at all those money, even i could've made those transfers happen. And i just counted those 10+ mils transfers, there are some shit ones like VDW who was 8 i think. His only great transfer was Verratti for 12 mils, but then again, he has only played in Pescara before PSG so it's kinda natural he wasn't that expensive.

Again, Leo's good, but don't make him the god of transfers please.
