no one spent any money this year in PL huh? I can’t think of any transfers other then Chelsea’s.

Manchester City spent a lot while Manchester United got Van der Beek. Arsenal got Saliba and Magalhaes. And Leeds got Rodrigo. The rest are mostly intra-PL transfers and nothing really spectacular.

It's been a weird mercato.

The French lost a lot of tv money I guess since their league stopped, the Spanish clubs are effectively bankrupt, Italian clubs had some money but it's all gone now and PL clubs aren't very willing to spend but they still managed to get some spending going as their tv deal is just too large.

Germans rarely spend much anyway.
