Even though they scored 2 goals early on Liverpool started this game slowly in terms of build up play and possession. The longer the game has gone on the better Liverpool are getting and they have a 2 goal lead. Very hard to see City getting back into it.

Disagree, City dominating possession but only 2 clear cut chances and Aguero missed them both. Liverpool have missed a couple of good chances too, as well as scoring 2 goals. At the very best City should be drawing but not ahead. Both the ref and VAR said no hand ball on TAA so Liverpool's 1st goal rightfully stood.

Yeah it did, from his hand to Trents. Premier League have said Trent's had was in a natural position and they also give allowance for balls that are deflected into a defender's hand. It could have went either way for sure, but the ref and VAR are allowed within the rules to not give it. It wasn't a clear and obvious error, which of course is the remit of VAR for handballs.

There could have been 2 penalties on TAA today. In Italy they would be called by VAR for sure, unless it was against De Ligt.
