Guardiola only makes them play at high level against league teams. He got nothing in the CL to do. He himself said Messi made him the coach he is today.

So, Guardiola is Spanish's Conte.

If you compare careers, Jose is among the best, if you are talking about now or last 5 years then he is miles behind other top coaches.

In the last 5 years he has won: 1 PL, 1 second place with a team that should be battling for relegation as it seems, 1 Europa League and a couple of mickey mouse English cups.

What did you expect him to do? Win the Champions League with Man Utd? It was a miracle that he managed to get past the group in the first place.

His only fault was not realizing that both at Chelsea and Man Utd in this decade the culture is completely alien to what he needs to have around him. He's a manager of men, not of spoiled brats.

Same applies with Conte who was either going to get fired or tame the brats of Chelsea back in September/October. Then they protested because it was "too much" and they fell into oblivion once again.

Same also applies with Simeone who will not tolerate that kind of attitude.

It's no surprise that in recent years the type of managers that succeed in the PL are the so called players' managers. Guardiola and Klopp are this type of coach, in their own separate ways. The days of respect for guys like Ferguson, Mourinho and Wenger is way past it. Even Ferguson grew more tolerant in his final days but when he retired Man Utd became a complete recreational center for overpaid athletes.

What the hell happened to Southampton? Did they fuck it up on purpose because of something?

I rather watch only Sarah Jessica Parker movies than watch the Epl. Other than Liverpool all the teams in that league play lob and sprint.

Quick red card on their left side, Maddison with a free kick, Leicester playing like a team and Soton not having a defence at all.

Not watching this one but Rashford and Martial have each missed a penalty. That's four missed penalties from three players for Man Utd this season

Cheers. I asked the same question in the fif WhatsApp group, interestingly it was actually 3 people saying it’s a pen vs 4 people saying it’s not. With brehme and Candreva crosses, its 5-4. (I’m not including myself)

I’m asking because my mate and I are heavily disagreeing over the incident. Not trying to spite the guy , I’m just genuinely curious to see the varying views. Anymore opinions would be appreciated.

Pretty clear penalty for me. Aurier kicks Mane down when Mane's going to nick the ball off him. You can't kick a player down.
