Manchester City is also behind them, I see ManCity like a great favourite to win English Preimer League, they have all chances, they made great transfers this mercato and I think they deserve to be surprised this season 2009/10, will be fantastic moments for them, winning English Premier League between another great teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal etc..

Well, great teams are not made during such short periods. Big money and new signings are not enough. City needs something special and I think they lack it. However, they can provide extra competition for the league.

P.S. It would be great to see some changes in Top4.

Must agree. PL has nothing to offer. It lost it's glamour.

Chelsea 2:1 Hull

First match of English Premier League have ended with win of Chelsea.

I watched this game and was very very great match, first was 1:0 for Hull but then Drogba have scored one great goal from freekick for result 1:1, in 92 minute Drogba again scored one awesome goal and Chelsea winned with result 2:1

Definitvly Drogba is class, he is awesome player. :)

Yeah Chelsea getting lucky at the end but were definitely the better team.
I enjoyed it but can't wait for SerieA.

Yeah, the premiershiop has lost some of it's shine. Ronaldo was the biggets reason why I tuned in to it in the first place. With him gone the only players left that are entertaining to watch are Arshavin and to a certain extent Rooney. The rest...meh.

Everton 0-6 Arsenal

They'll probably crush another team next week, giving pedophile football fans to go "ZOMG-19-year-old-1-touch-football-ftw" before going on a 3-match winless streak, dropping to 5th/6th and staying there for the rest of the season. :D

I'm really surprised with final result of match Everton 1:6 Arsenal, Top Gunners was really great in that match, I just say third goal scored in 40 minute, but I never thinked so result will end with 6:1 for Arsenal, they was wonderful...

Premier League will be very interesting till end, nothing is sure about favourite wining the league, I don't see Man Utd like first favourite to win English Premier League because now there are another strong teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.

Wenger is doing an amazing job with the material he has. He doesn't have a 50 million transfer budget every year like the rest of the top teams. Arsenal use that money to pay of the Emirates. Anyways, Arsenal are a completely different beast with Arshavin. If they can keep Fabregas I wouldn't bet against them fighting for the league this season, despite their ridiculously young squad.

You can post that at the beggining of every season. It would be believable till Oct and then reality hits.

Manchester City have started the new season with great victory against Blackburn Rovers was really good match the goal scorers was Adebayor and Ireland.. Tomorrow we'll have chance to watch another great match between Tottenham Hotspur vs. Liverpool, and another match will be Manchester United vs. Birmingham City.

Their board has stated on numerous occasions that they have money and its merely wenger who doesn't believe in paying those kind of fees and instead want to build players.

I have a bigger chance of winning the lottery than arsenal have of challenging for the title. They had a good day today but they had these kind of days before only the fall away badly when the real crunch comes in the second half of the season when the games pile up.

I want to remind you guys that a couple of seasons ago Arsenal beat Everton 7-0 or 7-1..Arsenal didnt end up winning the league and Everton ended up getting 4th place. Its just one match and there is a long way to go...

I am not a fan of Aresnal or any other EPL team so I care less who wins the league.

However, as a neutral, they are a joy to watch at most occassions because they play free-flowing football that other teams are cautious/scared to play. They are the only team in the EPL worth watching, what's the point of watching mega stars in other teams when 80 minutes of the game is a snoozefest.
