Gosh I wish I knew more about Egypt. I dream of travelling around the world one day. If I had the money the first place I'd visit would be NY, but Egypt would a dream. I visited Rome and it was a surreal feeling at times, a feeling of how man can build things that can survive the centuries. Egypt would be a similar experience, I'm sure.

I find it difficult to associate Egypt with Africa. Don't ask me why, but the association just doesn't click in my mind. Everyone says that Africa is such a wonderful place. There's one problem though. Egypt=Africa=hot=INSECTS! Frisko and insects don't like each other... :D

True, Egyptians seem more Arabian Asian than African.

I also would love to go there, though I don't think that will happen any time soon...

I would absolutely love to go there. My Grandma ( :p ) went there a couple of years ago, and she still talks about it.

Personally I would like to go there some day. Especially because I wanna see the Pyramides and other very old things. :)

yep u are right..it will but what is build in Rome is nothing compared with the buildings in Egypt. U have to keep in mind that the buildings in Egypt was build almost 2000 years before. Amacing...I would love to go there again.

You are not totaly right abaut Egypt...abaut being diferent to the rest of Africa. because north Africa and the Arabic countries are very similar the same religion..and some other things.

Well Egypt is similar to the Arab countries in language and the religions practiced (mostly Moslim and Christianity,In Egypt Coptic)

But the North African in total are not the pure picture of African countries that come to mind..They take somethings from the Mediterreanian countries i think too.Since they are there too.

I remember getting really scared when i went into the pyramids, it's really dark and the guide was really scary. But it's a nice experience and for a person like me who loves historical stuff it's a dream. I didn't go to Alexandria or Sharm el-sheikh which are less crowded and really quiet, i'm planning to go there once.

That's the other thing, Cairo is really really crowded. There are buildnings virtually everywhere and some buildings are old but sort of high-rise which is dangerous.
