He wasn’t going to do a 1 season with option for another

Plus we thought Lukaku would be joining with Thuram as a backup.

If we knew lukaku wouldn’t join we would have panicked and gave him a 2 year deal instead of panicking and giving Arna a deal

It's just banter.

Dzeko called out Lukaku for fucking up in the CL final, which was pretty hilarous.

It's pointless. We know starting Dzeko in the UCL final wasn't enough to win. So we'll be left to wonder for the rest of our lives what would have happened if Lukaku started.

Given how awful Lukaku played once in the match, the probable answer is: nothing better.

Lukaku has a gift for:

a) blocking goal-bound shots at the worst possible moment for his own team
b) fluffing multiple chances in elimination/final games for his team both club & country
c) scoring the winning goal of a European final...for the opposing team

At some point, it stops being bad luck. The guy is the exact opposite of clutch, at least for the team he's playing for.
