Official: Dodô joins Cruzeiro

Sampdoria left-back Dodô has joined Brazilian side Cruzeiro on loan with an obligation to buy.

The deal was reported on Gianluca Di Marzio’s website and made official by the club this afternoon.

It marks a quick return to Brazilian football for Dodô, who spent last year on loan at Santos.

The 26-year-old moved to Italy in 2012, playing for Roma, Inter and most recently Samp but without ever establishing himself for any of those clubs.
