Tampa Bay Rowdies, world class squad. Even had Freddy Adu on the bench last year. Should be in MLS soon

So local club here in the U.S. would be the San Jose Earthquakes, but fuck them MLS is god awful. I don't think I've ever been to a single game.

Now local club in Egypt is Al-Ahly and I definitely do support them. Harder to catch their games than Inter, but when I do find it I watch.

Not entirely sure, as I was fucking 9 years old, but I think I played a trial match for Aberdeen scouts at age 9 near Pittodrie.

Dylan doesn't do trials.

Nice thread and an interesting read. My local club would be.. Sydney FC? I don't even know. Some A-League shitters. I used to get free A-League tickets all the time due to my company's work in advertising/media etc. and I mean like free box seat tickets to grand finals etc. still never went once. Probably has something to do with the one time I watched an A League match on TV. Too sick to sleep, too hungover to move. A bleak situation either way. With the center backs constantly hitting long balls to no one and the horrific sideways passing and lack of creativity or teamwork, there was something remarkably familiar about it. I couldn't take it anymore after the goalkeepers were failing to save shots I'd expect Handanoviv to save with his dick and with his eyes closed.

Good thread. I am from Malaysia and i have been supporting my local team, Penang FA since 1995-1996. Recently one of our player won FIFA Puskas Award 2016. His gravity defying freekick was amazing. It was such a great honour to have our player won such a prestigious international award, and we were lucky to survived relegation battle last season too.

Just sharing some pic during FIFA Awards where he won the Puskas 2016

Local club would be PBFC, but never bother to watch them. This season is the first time since our FA got banned by FIFA years ago, but the league comeback pretty flashy with some marquee player like Essien, Sissoko, Zokora, Odemwingie, Smeltz of NZ.

I was a supporter of Levski Sofia back in the day, mostly because my grandfather was and so is my father. They were never the biggest football fans, but if you asked them what's their fav team that's what they would answer. Favourite clubs are like religion - it's something you're just stamped with at birth by your parents most of the time. (on a sidenote, big props Bonucci's son, little fella is legit)

Now, over the years, I've grown to hate the club. To be honest, I even began to like their arch rivals - CSKA Sofia a bit more.

That's mostly because of the difference between the ultras. Levski ultras are just little pieces of shit that are more interested in anarchy and hooliganism than football and they're not even doing that properly.

This isn't true. Why are you lying people here? I'm one of those ultras of Levski and I'm not just little pieces of shit, as well as many my friends with whom I go to matches. You want to say that the ultras of other teams not interested by hooliganism, etc.? I can tell you that the Litex fans take money (something like a salary) from the president to go to matches and recognize the team as authentic cska.

P.S. And this isn't cska, this is litex.

Well, that's my personal opinion for the majority of Levski fans nowadays. It's a generalisation, sure, but I'm explaining why I stopped rooting for the team - because of the fans.

I don't root for CSKA either, I was saying that their fans seem to be much more level headed, at least the ones that are supporting the "real" CSKA and not the Litex abomination.
