Also, all this crap from Mazzarri about us only being able to play two up front if Milito is fit? How so - he didn't run any more or track back any more than Belfodil or Icardi.

He certainly wasn't terrible as some of you are claiming, but he was exhausted too early. For that level of contribution, his wage is far too high for us to keep him.

He would be good as an impact sub if he was willing to reduce his wages.

Especially if we don't get any good forwards in the summer AGAIN (I know we got Icardi and Belfodil, but Icardi brings a different dimension than Milito and Belfodil is sadly and apparently gone from here). Good enough meaning Cerci, Sau or even fucking Adebayor. I know Cerci and Sau are more SS than FW, but the point still stands. Either bring a quality striker, a 24-26 year old would be perfect, but hell, even a 30 year old if cheap and if he can deliver. Just to make things happen, Mazzarri happy, the team going and that it makes sense.

If a forward isn't brought or, worse, a bad one comes, Milito should have his wages reduced and play as an impact sub.

That's why I said start Icardi and Palacio against Juventus and bring Milito on if needed. That's how it should be (if we don't count somebody by the name of BELFUCKINGDIL)

I don't care whether he starts against Juve or not – there's still a player there – but sub him off if he does start. Don't play him the full 90, he clearly doesn't have the stamina for that.
