This would be great. I’m very salty in hindsight that we didn’t get Bellanova over Buchanan last season, which would’ve given us a good replacement looking at the performance of Bellanova, but Di Lorenzo more than makes up for it.

5m is doable, perhaps including bonus. However, imo that still a bit high considering he is not as influential as let say Dimarco on the opposite flank who receive only 4m after the recent contract renewal back in last December.

Denzel currently receives a net wage of 2.5m, which costs us 8m annually. If we expand his contract to 5m, it will cost us 10.1m per year, which is not a significant increase.
Perhaps increasing the wage net to 4m would be ideal, as it would only cost us 8.2m per year, which is nearly the same as the existing one.

Also, I agree although he doesn't have a great season, his defensive contributions are okay. It may quiet hard for us to search player with physical and aerial presence similar to him at the alleged price value. Perhaps Posch in serie A, but he isn't a wingback but a fullback and Denzel might still a bit better attacking wise.

Perhaps they will rotate, Frimpong for more attacking match but Denzel might have slight edge for his experience.
Anyway, no idea what the coach plan they didn't even bring Zirkzee. Mr Rotterdam can answer this better.

I highly doubt that. Dumfries almost always delivers when playing for the Dutch NT. Koeman will almost certainly play 4-3-3, Frimpong is a pure wingback. I think Dumfries is gonna start.

Nevertheless i hope we sell him. He is kinda easy to replace, just hope we sell him for more than 20 mln.
