he had his days off? LOL Let me re-phrase that for you. He had his months off! ;)
During a 4-5 months period Deki’s display on the pitch was disastrous.
The guy only made our numbers up, yet Mancini kept playing him week in week out.

He is playing great now, and credit to him for the effort he puts in. But to come here and praise him for his contribution our previous season is utter nonsense. Perhaps only his mum, Mancini and this Benny guy would agree with that.

maybe your mum and your sister have been monitoring deki aswell,
dont fk with me javier zanetti,il swallow you

to get interest from real madrid 2 years running definatley means you are playing shit

lol i love how people responded to my post, lol i find it funny people posting about how they"have the right" or whatever crap they can pull out.

Stankovic in his 2 years always give his best, regardless if he played well or not, even if he had his off days he would still work his ass of try to defend, what do you mean he played like crap for 2 years?no he didnt,he had his off days but for the most part i think he always did well.

People now say he is doing well and playing "well","well",what do you guys mean by well, come on,you critisice the hell out of him when he plays some bad matches and when he is the best inter player up until now(i also hope he continues to do EXCELLENTLY) you guys say he plays "well",come on.

Also my post was more of a joke post, lol, did i really hit tha big of a nerve with that post?

Sometimes, trying is not enough.

I'd rather have player X playing half-@ssedly on the pitch but contributing more effectiveness to the team than player Y who gives his all but only runs around like a headless chicken.

Oh my god..this is silly.

im almost a 100% sure that everyone on this form agreed about deki's attitude and feelings for inter.no one cant deny that.

But again, he was really helpless for most parts the past 2 seasons...u cant deny that.

It's a management decision, and they don't consider a player solely on his form, okay? Dejan might have played really badly, but that wouldn't make Real losts their interest in Dejan. They might think Dejan would have a brighter future in Spanish League, or they might be insane?

Afterall, they bought Cassano, and that was a mistake, please don't think Real Merda would always make the right decision, because they don't. As for Man Utd, we know how many quality midfielders they have :D .

This season so far is great for him, I don't know if is it true, but when I watched last Inter game on TV I heard that by ratings from Gazzeta he is together with Materazzi and Zanetti in the best 11 players serie A so far, Frisko can confirm or denie that.
I just hope that he will continue play on that level...

There have been times when I was frustrated with Stankovic’s form but Mancini is as much to blame for Dejan’s poor form as Dejan himself.

Over the last two seasons, Mancini fielded Stankovic regardless of his form. On some occasions he played well and deserved his starting position and at other times he played less well and should have either been substituted or made to sit on the bench. A player is not going to turn down a starting position voluntarily. Mancini selected Stankovic and the player took to the field and played his game.

Mancini should have taken responsibility for Stankovic’s below par performances a long time ago just as the club is now doing with Adriano (although it has to be said that in the case of the latter player the action taken has been quite drastic). In my opinion, their situations are not too dissimilar. Like Stankovic, Adriano was virtually assured a starting place by Mancini and that led to complacency. The only real difference is that Adriano's lack of form is a great deal more obvious than Stankovic's as the former player's performances are ultimately judged on the amount of goals he scores.

Mancini should have either benched Stankovic or fired him up like he did a month ago by saying that a player like Deki should be scoring a goal a game. A goal a game is asking too much but since that comment Stankovic has been invaluable. It took a bit of pressure and criticism from Mancini to get Stankovic to lift his game and since then none of us have reason to complain.

I think Dejan is better off when he plays in the middle or on the right side of midfield. Mancini has used on the left flank most of the time and to be frank sometimes he has done well and other times less well.

I believe that fielding him in the middle of the park will give him more room to shoot and get into the area more often, hence, he could score few more goals than he usually does.

Now that is just pure assumptions. You are accusing the Deki haters, which I am not btw, of being a racist there. ;)

As for the transfer rumours, Real Madrid pursued David Beckham highly, does this mean that Beckham is a great player too?

Great post. :star: I think you have to also mention that Stankovic struggled on the left but has shone for us as of late when given more freedom in the centre, or to cut in.

It is times like this that makes me wonder why Karagounis, or even Emre, was sold. They have the same characteristic as Deki; a central midfielder used on the wings. Solari can play on the left but his playing style differs from Stankovic. Kara & Emre would definitely give Deki more competition and Mancini more option.

Stop inserting stupid little passport games in something like this, grow up.

Your connection of evaluating someone's performance with his linkage to other top teams is also silly.

The guy is playing good for different reasons, and simply put, he was playing garbage at most times last season.thats it, its not called hating, its called remembering.

you are two total dejan haters and there is nothing to add.you always have been always will.

even after games where dejan has been brilliant, you never acknowledge or give respect.

you mention dejans poor form and his so called runs out of form but you never mentioned which game you are talking about or what he did wrong.\

criticising dejan time and again ,game after game.WHY?coz he isnt brasilian or argentinian,

now thats silly,

btw,han if i want a singapore FAT NOODLE recipe id respect your knowledge but when it comes to inter your word means CRAP to me.

kaliffa i wont even waste time on you like i never did or never will

I really think stankovic good form's is down to his top physical condition he is in right now...see stankovic is the type of player where he is best in getting the ball and running into spaces, thats why he can play anywhere,i think he finally balanced his physical condition with his footballing ones,in other terms he has reached a good level of fitness that is making him play great.

Exaclty, people shit on stankovic for the games he played badly but like right now when he is easily the best player in our squad, nobody says anything.

How silly, benny

Dejan didn't do too great against Norway last night. Didn't quite get onto the right track. One of his worser matches since long.

Great post, Puma. I agree completely.

i didnt watch the game,i dont watch serbia play or hardly do so i take your word for it.the last time i watched em was at the WC.

but considering it was a friendly who gives a toss, maybe it was a great result for your boys?

at the WC,like the majority of their squad he was hopeless, not that it was his fault.

all i know is heaps of serbs complain how diffrent dejan plays for serbia(poor)
and how many of them say why doesnt he play for serbia like he does for inter.MEANING HE GIVES IT HIS ALL FOR US.

but still, every post these wolves make they never quote the game or situation
just the same old,hamed,ridicule,khaliffa,j zanetti,sasuke at times,the old catanha,old 1919,

and the beat goes on da doom do dee da dah

kaliffa, thanx for the compliments.ive been told that im a funny guy;).and dont think im retaliating

Rather wast to draw that conclusion, really.

Anyhow, I was just commenting his performance, thus it wasn't directed at you or your point of view in this discussion you have with numerous here.
