My point exactly. There were a lot of legendary players at Inter in the past but didn't have their numbers retired. If Bergomi's 2 isn't retired than no other number should be. Also it would be a great motivation for Santon to inherit the number 3.

PS: If Momo Kallon:yuck: and Nico Burdisso:wallbang: were able to waer it, why shouldn't anyone else be?

Maybe, but Santon seems much more composed on the field and as a person in general, I doubt theres a problem like Balotelli's where he apparently wanted to leave, or cried during training or whatever.

Channel4 completely misinterpreted that, they asked Mourinho why hasn't Santon started and he was explaining why but no in the manner C4 put it. He said he didn't play against Juve because Zanetti is tactically more inept to play in the role. He didn't say it a tone that Santon has to change his attitude he just needs to improve as a player which let's face it it's obvious.
