i was the one defending him, but don't make him a lord and saviour yet, u people are talking like he's on jonathans level

I would say (so far) he is a semi-saviour. We were dreadful in the flanks, most goals conceded was from there, we were stuck with too offensive wing backs like (Naga, Dodo) and too defensive ones (Campagnaro). Now with him and D'Ambrosio at least have a REAL fullback, not to mention solid and balanced offensively and defensively.

About today's game he was solid excluding the run. If keeps this form I will be so happy, cant ask for more.

I was wondering for a while what the best combination would be for fullbacks since both Santon and D'Ambrosio can play both roles. I think yesterday answered that question, and not just because Mertens was abusing him.

Crucial in the 2nd half yesterday especially After we went 2-0 down. We could have wilted but he looked like he was ready to put the team on his back. Probably something he learned in England. Game changer.
