Have you seen this magician? he's just insane. He does the most incredible, at the same time crazy, stunts ever.

Today my friend showed me a video of him literally ripping his own heart out. I'm dead serious. If you want to see it (it's so disgusting) then type in 'david blaine heart' in google and click a few links until you find it. But beware, it's not for people prone to vomiting.

My favorite magician, for sure. Although there are a few others who have better tricks than him, they do not have Blaine's swagger or charisma.

My favorite trick is when he just flips a number of cards to the TV camera, ask the TV audience to pick a card & memorize it and he successfully predicted what card I picked. Simply incredible. Although after a few minutes of thinking about it, I discovered that it was just a psychological trick.

I went to see when David Blaine came out of his "box" after 40 days in London - that was pretty damn cool!

I work in Chillers where it's -30 degrees and I still think that David Blaine stunt in the ice box was fake, still haven't convinced me yet after so many years...

And the levitation is all bull crap, it's pretty obvious too - when he completes his tricks inc. the levitation the camera faces the witnesses and they already know who David Blaine is...unless they are really familiar with his work or otherwise...

But I guess he is an amazing illusionist, probably the best I've seen.

I don't know of all his tricks/stunts, but the one I find to be the craziest is the stunt where he went 44 days without food, confined in a box. That is amazing. As for tricks, well there's one on a TV commercial where he flicks these cards and says "pick a card, any one" and he flicks like all 52 of them, and I chose Queen of Spades....... then he flicks the pack and a queen of spades comes up... I was like ... 'GET THE $#% OUTTA HERE!' He's a genius at what he does.

The best I saw was when he went to a Knicks drill. He asked Allan Houston to pick a card, and only show it to the camera and those around him.

Then he picked a basketball, asked someone to cut it open, and then the card that Houston picked was there!

yeh I just saw that, it's amazing.

I watched an hr-long episode just then on TV. He did some crazy stuff. He bit the diamond out of some girl's ring, swallowed it, then pulled it out of his eye and put it back in the ring.

He also dropped some lady's wedding ring into a drain pipe, then walked across to the pathway and found a little empty liquor bottle with the ring inside it.

I'd love to know how he does it.

Yeah, I think I saw the exact same episode as well!

You know, the reaction of that girl made me think it was all staged. If you throw an engagement dimamond-ring of a women, then you are probably advised to pray to God because you will die immediately.

However, she was kind of giggling and just saying: "No Dave, No Dave!"
