It probably has more to do with the injury and them nursing him back to game fitness at their own requirements. Let him settle, bottom line is its in their interest to play him because they have an option.

Bessa played 60 minutes with Vicenza's Primavera and made an assist. He was one of the best players in field. Vicenza's Primavera won 6-1.

I'm sure this has more to do with fitness than him all of a sudden being shit. There are some players who just don't make it at the next level, but I find it hard to believe they wouldn't even give him 15 min at the end of a match before writing him off.

he played.. 45 min? in the coppa italia for the primavera a month or two ago, it seems an awfully long time to go back to "match fitness" if that was simply the case. Maybe he got reinjuried or something? A short term injury after being out for so long isnt unusual

Vicenza seem destined for relegation this season and don't have the luxury to risk playing youngsters. Apart from Bessa only 1 other player below the age of 21 has made an appearance (Cavion has played for 18mins)

Exactly, that's the managements fault. Oh Vincenza doesn't play youngsters? Lets send Bessa there with a co - own option, and hope they don't get relegated to Serie B.
