To weaken Juventus, we shud get players like zambrotta, nedved, emerson, d.piero, buffon, thuram.
But yeah, we might get tudor, birendelli (?), I wud say that even Camoranesi won’t be that bad. But that doesn’t mean, I wud say yes for Camo, no way. I was just comparing Tudor and co. with Camoranesi. :dielaugh:

I wud actually be very happy with tons of money ...... no players, coz the players which cud weaken them won't be given away by Juve.

No way Bianconeri, you need at least 2. You can't trust Le Grottaglie, and you'll have a long season too. If you manage to beat Djugarden, you'll have the CL as well as Serie A. So you need to add 2 great CB to your squad. Injuries don't happen just in Milan, you know? And I hear Montero has a thing for red cards...

Bianconeri: Yes, injuries and suspensions will cause you big trouble unless you find 2 good defenders. Old players like Ferrara is a hazard as well as Montero who gets red cards (as Frisko said)! Furthermore injuries could very well make life tough for you too. And you cannot rely on Zebina, Legro, etc. Coppa Italia, CL and Serie A... It´s a long season.

So two defenders is a must! Unless you will only try and do well in one tournament and OK in Coppa Italia.

nah, Thuram-Canna for example will work fine, and Capello can make miracles with Legro, I'm sure of it...

Besides, Zebina has been superb in pre-season, it amazed me... Even if we bought two CBs, I doubt that we could do that much this season because we have so many new players and a new coach... 05/06 will be THE season, I'm sure of it...

Even if we assume you get Cannavaro (I doubt it) and you have a back four line consisting of ?? - Thuram - Cannavaro - Zambrotta, you need a strong bench.

And who would you rely on as Canna/Thuram´s replacement there? Zebina? Legrottaglie? Juve needs a stronger backup than that... If they wish to win titles this season. So you need another quality defender.

But I guess you do consider Zebina/Legro quality players?

Yeah I've heard praises aimed at Zebina by all the Juve fans I know. They say he has been superb this pre-season. Though I'm still not convinced, I'd have to see him playing well myself to believe it.

Though if they are comparing him to the other CBs that Juve have than thats barely a compliment

Then you will have: Zebina (Capello's fav), Birindelli, ... who else. May be that is why Juve's rumoured to Bonera as well for the CB role.
