@wera I think Bologna was caught off guard in the opening match of the season vs Milan. They would surely give a tougher fight had they played in this period. Usually these matches in the first round are always tricky.

Us and Atalanta have the trickiest opponents. Although Sassuolo never seem to be good in the Coppa Italia. Ok with Milan getting Cagliari as hopefully they go through and have additional games to play.

Just hoping Coppa Italia does not become a distraction for us. We've won it twice and obviously 3 times in a row would be nice but not if it were to negatively affect Serie A. It may lead to going out but want to see pretty much all of our 'first 11' players rested for that match.

Then again, a winning culture is good so going ahead in all competitions is important too.

Guess I should care about this tournament , but I can't. More concerned about the away fixtures in the CL and Serie A. Play the subs heavily in any case especially the likes of "offsides" Arnautovic, Cuntrado, Bisseck, whoever is Sommer's backup. How about a Sarr sighting, as well.....

Fiorentina are losing from Parma for now, so if we beat Bologna somehow, the next round should be easier.

Glad I mock the fraud when he was announced as new napoli manager. And some people were even defending him by saying he is a good manager... Yeah, for a midtable club ten years ago...

I know napoli has other issues as well, but mazzari for me is the same level as garcia. Imo with the players they have they could look more than decent with someone that isn't a complete fraud.

Garcia at least was managing Marsilie and Lyon, two important clubs. Mazzarri stopped coaching. Last time he coached was 3 years ago and it was only 6 months at Cagliari.
