Yeah he took a photo with him and posted it on his instagram page, then at some point he deleted it. Maybe he was made a promise (of course, to come to Inter) that wasn't fulfilled, or at least that's how he felt.

I was impressed by how bad Argentina was. I don't know the details of their national team, but from far away it looks like Argentine football is rotten to the core, on multiple levels.

As many have said, it doesn't look like the best players for every role are selected and anyways, it definitely is a mess and probably the older players are the ones in command.

And even in the federation, there must be something wrong if grondona could be the president for 35 fucking years, from 1979 to... his death.

This Argentina midfield, individually speaking, are much better than those corpses Sampaoli took to Russia. Lo Celso and Paredes are actual good players. I just think Scaloni is a noob and it showed. Queiroz, without doing anything nifty with his tactics, wiped the floor with him.

I've been saying this for a long time, Agüero has no business starting for Argentina. Even fucking Higuaín was better for them, imo. Lautaro should start. At least he'd give it his all.

(And yes, Guido Rodríguez is a scrub. No idea what he's doing there.)

No the Argie team is super over rated

You have a bunch of white boys with EU passports that’s do nothing domestically and all get big money euro moves.

That is why I get so angry when we are linked to a nobody for 20-30 million.

Dude, how about you cut the crap with these constant remarks about races? I can't take it anymore of these posts of yours where you constantly talk about black and white. It's cringey at best.

Maybe you struggled as a kid because of your skin, and if that is the case, I respect your sufferings, but luckily the world of football is past that shit.

I mean, since I'm already talking about it, France has won the world cup with a team for 3/4 made of black guys.

No one cares about the color of the skin in football. If the world worked like it works in football, nobody would ever have to talk about racism anymore.

To play in Europe you need a EU pass! Being white gets you one easier. Or saying your grandma is Italian or Spanish.

Not racist just facts. Argie and Uruguayan players are usually white so they get EU passes and get to go play in Europe faster or easier hence why people think they are so much better then they actually are. Brazil fine not as many but when you win 5 world cups it’s easy to sell random turds for big money after 1-2 good games

France black guys had EU passports because they live in France. Just like the Dutch ones.

I am more talking about South American players

Don't Brazilians have a cushy arrangement with Portugal due to their mutually shared histories and language?

I hope the dipshits that play for my NT learned a thing or two from the U20 boys. Probably not. Uruguay's gonna fuck us sideways today :D

Var just red carded a Ecuadorian player for making a Uruguayan player bleed

Var wasn’t used when Paredes injured Muriel and then Aguero tried an offsides goal :)

These Refs aren’t bias

It's gonna be a long night.

I hope Uruguay scores 7 past us and this motherfucker is fired. We've played some shit games thru the years but never, ever have I seen us play as bad as we have under Gómez.

Uruguay is one of my top 2 favorites to win this Copa.
This might be the last attempt at winning anything significant for this generation, and they’re going all in efforts in this one.

Not trying to be a snob or anything but I hate the camera/broadcast work of the Copa America. It looks cheap. Feels like I'm watching Brazilian Serie A and not a major international tournament. And why the fuck are Qatar/Japan at the Copa America.

And random question, the fuck is going on with Yerry Mina? Cunt transfers to Barca, flops hard, then transfers to Everton at triple the price? Only to flop hard again? Am I missing something?

Uruguay, Brasil or Colombia. No way the cup doesn't go to one of those teams.

I fucking hate losing to Uruguay, but it was fair, necessary even. They have a sick team. Vecino benching Torreira tho :dielaugh:

There's always been "guest" national teams. Whenever México participate they usually send their B team. I believe Croatia participated once. Japan has participated a couple times.

His transfer to Everton was mostly wc hype from the headers he had scored. He is a really poor defender. The first time i watched Mina was in a Levante-Barcelona game two seasons ago. They hadn't lost any game till then and they ended up conceding 5 goals in that game. His positioning was terrible. I don't think he's suited to play in Europe. Perhaps in a back 3 where there's someone else to cover for him.

I'm pretty sure if Surinam and Guyana participated we'd have more players that opt for Holland and England respectively hopping onto those NTs and it'd increase the level of competiion. And it'd make more sense to participate there.

The tournament should be Pan-American though. It's not as if they have to travel for qualifiers every 3 months to the other side of the world vertically, it's just for 2 weeks at most like any other tournament.

They could make it a 16 team tournament and have some qualifier section in Central America and another one in the Caribbean whilst the top teams based on coefficient are automatically in it (eg Mexico, USA, Costa Rica etc)

He needs a fast defender next to him. I don’t think he is a poor defender just slow.

He handled Messi + Aguero well.

His problem is he is 6’5 and like 150 pounds he needs to hit the weight room. He is also pretty injury prone

Venezuela v Brazil been a good game

But they just gave a Venezuelan a bs yellow for getting fouled

Not sure if Venezuela has gotten that much better or Brazil is just that bad

I know many of you want Neres but dude has 0 finishing

These are the two best goalies of the cup. Venezuela goalie is incredible but is 5’9 at best

- - - Updated - - -

VAR finally helping a small team

But being off side when a goalie blocks it is kind of shitty rule. O well guess if it helps your team
You don’t care.

That was a rough call against Brazil. Venezuela gotten lucky

2 Var goal removal haha. The 2nd one wow!!
