This cup.... is total bullshit. It should be played in Colombia or Ecuador who are next in line to host. But no it is in the US. The same country that cried about corruption at FIFA. This cup is openly confirmed that it is being played in the US because of bribes haha

Any way for Colombia - Murillo made the team :) as well as our transfer target Marlos Moreno. Guarin got kicked off the team once Inter shipped him to China. Double thanks on that one haha

Chile - Medel is on the team as well

Brazil - Miranda is on the team

kind of sad remember when we were full of Argie and Brazilian NT players.... but then agin those teams actually use to be good.:p

Colombia going to pound some gringo ass!!!

US is doing a lot better then I thought. Colombia really are Ying & yang we either play like Real Madrid on easy mode in FIFA or like shit. For a team who is known for their passing they can't make more then 3 passes. Our 4-2-3-1 should go back to a 4-3-2-1 or a 4-2-2-2

Cardona showing flashes of his godliness but he just played the Mexican league final last week and seems crazy tird

God the US looks like shit. Already 2 down and I feel like neither team even got out of 1st gear.

Zardes is absolute trash, he's a Good athlete but his touch is that of a brick wall. Too many MLS players on this U.S. team, our leaders not playing in Europe is showing, way too naive.

Think US is doing well. Just unlucky on both goals. Look at the Colombian roster and then the US one.

Think Colombia is playing like shit. The formation doesn't work. Cardona is a total beast but we aren't using him. Only attacking on the right side with Arias, Cuadrado and James. Bacca is too alone up top.

Need to switch to a 4-3-2-1 and put Cardona in the MF 3. James and Cardona look super tired

Still 1st game but Colombia is too Ying and Yang. We need to be much more consistent if we want to be a top team.

He looks like a much worse Welbeck!

Why does Dempsey still play for the USMNT? He is finished.

In the end this game came down to top level experience vs naivety. The goals came from a set piece and a PK, both of which were avoidable. Neither team did much to break the other down from open play throughout the match. However when it came to capitalizing from mistakes they were superior and that's experience we lack.

Michael Bradley was the flop of the match IMO. However he is just a symbol of the overall problem. Klinsmann was mad a couple of years ago when Donovan, Bradley and Jones decided to return to the MLS, and today showed why. Bradley's passing today was slack, the type of slack you get away with against the Philadelphia Union but not against Udinese. If he was still in Serie A or Europe in general he doesn't make this mistakes today. But bad habits are formed playing in lesser leagues and we saw that from a lot of the MLS based players.

I think Klinsman is the problem. uS was much better under Bradley's dad. Most of the Colombians play in Colombia and have very few caps as well. Problem with the US is the coach. He failed with Germany how do you expect him to do well with the US limited talent. Think Bradley is the best US player. I was shocked he put in those 2 young guys so early but wtf did he just let Colombia pass the ball to each other for 20 minutes at the start of the 1st half.

Colombia played badly but also didn't have to do too much for a result. 2nd half was boring. US gave up and Colombia was already happy with the result. It's the 1st game so all players have gitters so hope both teams play much better next round.

Dunga's selections is just as :palm: worthy as Scolari's. Seems Brazilian coaches can never choose the talent correctly...if he brought that Renato Augusto from China, why not Alex Teixeira?

Why do teams have to score twice in Brazil before it is counted?

Colombia got screwed out of the 2006 WC because they didn't count our goal against them. Then the Bs officiating at the WC where they let them play a rugby match. Now ecuadors goal where it was a total GK fuck up!!!! In Europe you only have to score on Italy or Germany 1 time for it to count? Or do all the big teams get these bullshit help

Ecuador is actually playing great football right now. They beat Argentina in Argentina at the start of qualifiers. I have, as many others have written them off as a team that can only win because of their high altitude home stadium but they learned how to play away from home and are very dangerous. Pissed they got screwed out of their win.

Uruguay and Ecuador are teams in the best form right now in South America. For me I think Mexico is the favorite

Not many people remember Allan in Brazil, whereas Elias played for both Corinthians and Flamengo, the country's two most popular clubs. Of course, it's Dunga's job to call the best players, not the most well-known, but then again, he's something of an idiot.

Uruguay vs Mexico tonight. That should be a match worth watching.

Jamaica vs Venezuela is on right now. Half paying attention to it. Josef Martinez from Torino scored the only goal of the game thus far.

Aaaand red card to Jamaica. Kind of harsh, player won the ball but he did leave his leg in and knew what he was doing.
