Really..? So who are the homosexuals at Inter..?

I'm not saying there are any, but just that like in everywhere, there are homosexuals in footballing world too, so my point was actually that if Passarella would be the next Inter coach, that would certainly be catastrophe to use methods like that in Europe. Because mathematically there are homosexual(s) in every team, someones basic human rights would propably get thrown out of window.

So, no Passarella :wallbang: .

Btw, why is everyone putting Toldo in any formation for next year, i want a better goalie.
Flavio Roma from Monaco maybe...?

Oh my god!Flavio Roma better than Toldo? :yuck: :yuck: Maybe on current form, he's as good as Toldo, but, nah, he never will be better than Francesco. And, the two homosexuals in the team are, erm IMO, T.H and A.Z.... :dielaugh:

First of all i would like to say there is no reason to speculate or even suggest any of the homosexual stuff...It is none of our business and I even think joking about it isnt acceptable...

Second i just heard that Porto received an offer from Chelsea for Mourinho and players that they cant refuse. So i am guessing he will go to Chelsea next season. Plus Ranieri would be free and i think Spurs would like to snatch him and he would like to go there to hit back at Chelsea. That leaves Capello who says he will stay with Roma and Mancini who says he will stay with Lazio and Hitzfeld who will remain with Bayern till next year...So i am guessing it will be another season with Zac(but who really knows) maybe its a blessing in disguise for us or potential heartattacks.Did i forgot any good candidates??

Zac's future on the line
Posted on 07 May 2004 - 10:15

With AC Milan wrapping up the Serie A title last week, attention turns on Sunday to the race for the last available Champions League place and the battle to avoid relegation.

Milan, Roma and Juventus have already booked their places in Europe's premier club competition, leaving Parma, Inter Milan and Lazio to scrap it out for fourth place.

The biggest game of the day takes place at the San Siro where under-achievers Inter entertain cash-strapped Parma.

Parma, declared insolvent and put up for sale following the collpase of their parent company Parmalat, currently own fourth spot with 55 points, two ahead of both Inter and Lazio.

Victory for Inter will see them leapfrog Parma into fourth place with one game left, while defeat will eliminate them from the race to play alongside the European elite and probably leave coach Alberto Zaccheroni out of a job.

Inter owner Massimo Moratti has warned 'Zac' of the consequences should his team fall short of their objective.

"I hope he understands how important it is that we finish the season in fourth place," he said.

"The Champions League is important for many reasons. It will bring in money, raise the club's profile and strengthen our character. One cannot imagine what it would be like if we don't make it."

According to Italian media, Inter have already sounded out Lazio coach Roberto Mancini as to whether he would be interested in the job should Zac be given the boot.

Inter, who are 26 points behind neighbours Milan, were dumped out of the Uefa Cup last month after losing to French first division side Marseille.

Lazio, in sixth place, face a tough test in Lombardy away to Brescia.

Down at the basement, second-from-bottom Perugia on 26 points, four adrift of Empoli, could join Ancona in Serie B even if they win away to Roma.

A one-match stadium ban for Roma because of the bad behaviour of their fans at the San Siro last week means the game will be played in the Sicilian city of Palermo.

Empoli visit relegated Ancona, while Modena, level on 30 points with Empoli, face a crunch match away to struggling Siena.

Reggina, also fighting to save their top flight status, host champions Milan.

The bottom three in Serie A will be relegated, while the team finishing fourth from bottom will play a two-legged play-off against the side finishing sixth in Serie B.

Serie A is being expanded next season from 18 teams to 20.

Sunday's fixtures
Ancona v Empoli, Brescia v Lazio, Bologna v Lecce, Inter Milan v Parma, Juventus v Sampdoria, Modena v Siena, Reggina v AC Milan, Roma v Perugia, Udinese v Chievo

After re-reading Moratti comment on how important the CL is I'm sorta starting to think that if Zac fails in getting the team to the CL that he may be sacked....

Now comes the question which is on my mind...

Do I rather Zac staying and the team getting into CL Qualifiyers next year or Zac leaving and the team in the UEFA Cup??

I guess it all matters who the possible coach could be if Zac is fired that would really help in answering these questions...

RONCHETTI PROVERA: "A MORAL OBJECTIVE"
Saturday, 08 May 2004 21:26:10

S. MARGHERITA LIGURE - (ANSA) - "I think fourth place is a moral objective for Inter because of the fans," said Pirelli and Telecom Italia president and Inter shareholder Marco Tronchetti Provera ahead of Sunday's big match at home to Parma.

"It's a positive sign for everybody to see that the effort is being made to achieve an objective after others have unfortunately not been reached."

According to Tronchetti Provera, it's not right to link Zaccheroni's future at Inter to reaching fourth place. "I think the objective must be pursued regardless of the destiny of one person or another," he added.

Hoping ZAC's destiny is the sack even if we get 4th spot.

Well, for some of us - including me- that's a win-win situation. If we win and qualify that's good, and if we fail then Zac won't be back. How pathetic are we becoming when even bad situations can be good??? :depress:

i voted for keeping zac. no matter how much i detest his tactic. i still feel that if he can win the scudetto with a crappy milan team then he can do it here.

also the coaching climate of inter has to change. Coaches dont feel the security and serenity when they coach here. U can have the best coaches at inter but i still dont think they will win anything unless the board supports them fully. CUper is a good example.

Zaccheroni should leave the club. They should get someone like Porto's manger Jose Mourinho or Claudio Ranieri who is more experienced in Champions League football.

I would rather have Raineri than Zac, i just don't like Zac at all and pray he is not here for next season. Although with Raineri he could use that rotation system which gets on my nerves and could get on the players nerves too. Better choices would be Capello, Mancini or Mourinho - oh how I wish!

Zac to remain if… Monday 10 May, 2004

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alberto Zaccheroni has been told that he will keep his job if Inter finish fourth - but the Coach is not so sure.

"If Zac gets us into the Champions’ League then he will remain," President Giacinto Facchetti said after the 1-0 win over Parma.

Yet the tactician was not convinced that a victory at Empoli in the last game was that important for his own future.

"I don’t think that my Inter destiny is necessarily tied to just the result of our final match," said the Coach.

"I don’t know whether that is a positive or negative but I doubt that the future of a tactician can depend on just 90 minutes.

"I’m sure that the club will take into consideration what I have done during all of my time here. If they are happy then I will stay."

However, Zac’s grip on his job has been weakened given his relationship problems with star striker Christian Vieri.

"I haven’t got a problem with him at all," he added. "I’ve been making certain decisions for years.

"He’s been left out of the side on occasions this season for tactical reasons, decisions which my job permit me to make."

I would want to point out that Zac did win with a weak Milan side while Ranieri couldnt(which i think is due to his continuous tinkering that no Inter fan could stand) Plus u have to remmeber that Zac didnt take us from the start of the season and during his first days looked like a genius...If he could replicate that and stop with the weird inclusion of some players i think we will be in good shape.

I prefer Zacch over Ranieri if I had to choose between the two.

Don't forgett that when we had full squad fit we had great results with Zacch.(for example last 9 games-we are the best from all serie a teams)
Our worst results came when we had full squad injured.

If there is a reason why i want us to keep Zac, it is that he wasn't given a fairer shot. We should judge him from a season's worth of work. I remember him saying once that when he took charge he couldn't alter the way the players trained. I might agree with him on that since we seem to follow Cuper's physical training methods. If he stays i want him to change it completely and come up with a plan that will minimize our injuries.

Also, he seems to improve his tactics as of late. I liked the way we played against Parma and i hope this style continues. I just don't want him to repeat the many blunders he did during the season. In his pre-match conference he seemed to realize the some of his ideas were wrong and he is trying to fix them.

Zacch is improving,he realized the thing about Adi-Vieri for example, applaus for him for that.

Maybe some day in some years to come he will realize that Helveg is crap.Who knows...,everything is possible in this crazy world :D

no ranieri for me. I think inter has serious problems, which club on earth talks about changing their coaches every single year?

imo cuper shouldnt be sacked early on, and zac deserves the chance to be able to work with the team for a whole pre season. If inter doesnt want them than i believe they deserve to be at other clubs where the management fully appreciates them.

Here's a thought: What about Roberto Baggio?
I know it's a huge risk, we know absolutely nothing about his coaching skills, but still, it would be very interesting to see him take charge.

Anyway, my no.1 choice is definitely Capello.
