I was watching "The Locker Room" when he made that comment. I actually like him on that show he's pretty funny and has some decent insight. However, it's obvious he favors Juventus he's made no secret of it.

However, I'll tell you he's very quick to pick Icardi as his favorite goal of the week. Done it 2-3 times now.

The thing is Juve are known for it, that's why people are so quick to bring it up.

He does have a point though, but it's not like it only applies to us. Teams get rewarded non-existent penalties all the time, you hear about it sometimes and other times you don't. It depends on the teams involved and how important the match is. You'll rarely hear about it coming from a Parma vs Chievo match for example...but of course an important Juve vs Roma game will cause lots of controversy.

Vieri: '' Moratti betrayed me, but I can not hate Inter! Emotions beyond the trophies. Calciopoli and 2002 ... ''
Source: BBC, November 19, 2014

Interview with the BBC to Christian Vieri, a former not too popular with Inter fans especially as said (and did) after the departure of the club Inter. Here are some passages of his statements.

Years have passed, but many, especially among the fans, have not yet figured out how you can be so hard to come to a rupture between her and Inter.

"It's really a shame that it ended in a certain way. I loved Inter, I gave everything I have killed for the Nerazzurri shirt, every day. At the training I was the first to arrive and the last to leave. I do not I never pulled back and sometimes I played despite not own feet. But, I said, go on the field, there is also still ahead, which for us is good. And I accepted, because I really wanted, even if it means making pictures of shit ... Yes, write it. My relationship with Moratti was special, strong, very strong. We felt several times during the day, even at 3 in the morning, we were confronting on everything. It made me feel part of the family . In short, I was well professionally and personally, and I gave all my energy to the team. You understand the terrible disappointment when I found that shadowed and even intercepted. Heck, these are things you do with the mafia ... " .

But you never had signs that something was cracking with Moratti?

"Let's say that after the arrival of Adriano calls from the president had become less frequent ... But I know how things are going, especially in football. It was enough to speak to us directly, and I would not have had problems leave on good terms. C 'was an air of renewal and after six years it was probably also normal to focus on other players. But why did not fend among us, in friendship? Why try to break that? One day I said, "President, do not worry, if I leave enough that you mention it, there is no problem. "He said, 'No, no. Inter's me and you, our sins are always for others, the responsibility we always take the two of us. I want you to my side .... "Then I insist, to be sure," Really president, if there are problems .... "Answer dry:" It's all right. "More than all right when then come to find out that intercepted .... "

And when to terminate?

"They treated Ghelfi and Branca with my attorney. I'm the president and we have not heard ...".

And if you met Moratti now?

"The shake his hand. And the hug too. I always thank: I bought it for its weight in gold from Lazio and allowed me to live six wonderful years, overwhelmed by the love of the people for a long time Inter. I even think that I love her too. But I like to be their symbol, I felt the pressure but it was very exciting to see them so proud of me. They told me: "With you, we can go to war with anyone." It was beautiful! We were entering the heating and the stadium was shaking, these are feelings that are beyond the trophy. And only the people who were there at that time can figure it out. "

What is today's Inter to you?

"I've heard many say around, but I could never hate Inter, this is clear to everyone. It's impossible, they were my best years, I split for the shirt, I scored almost a goal a game, I suffered, rejoiced and felt emotions that I have never experienced anywhere else. And all this in spite of the few victories. Those emotions were unique because lived in symbiosis with the fans. Today I get on twitter pictures of me and Ronaldo together. What times! That's one of the great regrets is not having played longer with the phenomenon. We were the strongest, and that attendance was around us. I remember Inter-Verona arrived at the stadium an hour and a half before , but inside there were already 85,000 people screaming your name. Stuff chills, impossible to explain. However, one thing I am proud of: I really gave all power to the people. "

She went away, then burst Calciopoli felt something even in his day?

"No, Juventus and AC Milan at the time were the strongest. We wasted a great chance in 2002 ...".

The following season dragged Inter through to the semis of the Champions League...

"Speaking of regrets, I scored two goals in the qualifying Valencia at the Mestalla then just hurt my knee and double farewell match against AC Milan. I still do not forgive Materazzi and Carew (laughs): I they fell on me and broke . Amazing, injury absurd. We were ripe for the Cup and I was fine. We were able to win it. "

I still remember...Brescia vs Inter in 01/02. One of the very few games that Ronaldo & Vieri played together. I literally cried.

Could have been one of the best partnerships of all time, they were both pure strikers but understood each other so well, in the extremely little time they played together. The 1-2s, the movements, they were oh so perfect.

Fuck life, fuck fate, fuck destiny

He felt Calciopoli was a farce; fair enough. He have everything for Inter, and really is one of our modern greats. Under Cuper he was an animal.

I am one of the most hurt members to comment on Vieri, as he was my favourite player of those times [1999-2005] Bobo the King... I cried when we suffered and I cried when he scored his 100th in our shirt, wearing the crown. His determination and strength will be surely missed, but I certainly won't miss his LEFT leg :palm: He missed too many damn sitters, even for NT.

I felt all the emotions along with him and will be forever grateful for his performances in our shirt, but those days are long gone. We all know he's a fuckin` juBentus supporter and that's about it. Just like in the Ronaldo case, I felt betrayed by him, so he does not deserve this outstanding rank.

For me, LGI is for players that breath & bleed INTER PER SEMPRE, and one cannot tell that about him. Putting him alongside Materazzi, Stankovic, Samuel, Zanetti, Milito, Cordoba, Cambiasso, Djorkaeff, Simeone, Zamorano, etc. just doesn't seem right. I would rather consider Di Biagio than Vieri.

In that case, Meazza played for Milan, not LGI worthy. Vieri clearly played with his whole heart for Inter, in the days when there was no Sneijder or Cassano to support him, he scored many goals for us.

The only one who is the betrayer is Moratti for me. Moratti just had to fuck up every good thing he did. That is how i feel. Can i vote Moratti out of LGI. No, i can't, because as the moron as Massimo is, he was also a gentleman who loved inter at least as long he got supporters on his side. He brought us the cl that we longed for so long.

So Vieri, in terms what he did for Inter, is definately LGI. He could say that inter sucks, but if he does what he is supposed to, it doesn't matter.

Meazza came back and coached the Inter youth team for some time. He also said joining Milan was the biggest mistake of his career. See Bobo coming back to do anything at Inter...

But Vieri's strong foot is actually his left foot.

Bobo was great for us, and I'm kinda happy with his last interview. He said he loved playing for us, it seems to me that he had problems with Branca "the great" and others in the management, but that he loved the fans. It must have been awful to find out that your bosses were spying on you the whole time... It's a shame that he sued us, otherwise, him going to AC Milan in the end didn't have any effect on anything, he was long finished when he joined them.
He "was" inter in those years, R9 was injured all the time, V32 was the symbol of Inter, so I still think back at those times with joy (even if we had problems left and right :( )

Wow so you rate simeone that high? That guy was 2 years at inter and joined lazio afterwards. I don't see how he is more LGI-worthy than vieri or ronaldo. And mentioning him among the ranks of zanetti, cambiasso etc. is sickening to me. Why are so many guys here always loving him and acting like he is a inter legend. He won't join us just because of that. So to stay on topic. If simeone is LGI, Vieri should be for sure as well.
