Well he didn't really look match fit to be honest...I don't think Prandelli should play him when he's not ready like that. Oh and it was a poor penalty kick, but it was no worse than De Rossi's vs Man U.

You are sick hal.

And when, all were saying how inexperienced Fiorentina are, it was ultimately the two most experienced players in Vieri and Liverani who missed the spotkicks. Neither of them really looked comfortable taking it.

Wikipedia on Liverani said:
He is currently looking for an award for acting as he faked getting a blow to the head during the UFEA CUP Semi-Final against Rangers,
Justice was done, however, as the dominant Teddy Bears progressed to the final!

I was so sad when I saw him last night. He is so clumsy and nothing goes his way anymore. He is my favorite player and will always be. Hopefully he will retire now, or join a relegation struggling team next year, scoring 15 and saving them.

Forza Bobo!

Bobo, truly a clown:

Vieri heads for the Hull
Sunday 29 June, 2008

Christian Vieri has been so horrified by the Atalanta fans’ hate campaign that he is moving abroad to sign for Hull City.

The well-travelled striker was due to return for a third spell at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, where he began his career.

However, the supporters were furious at this comeback, considering him a ‘traitor’ after he walked out to join Fiorentina.

Vieri had been at the club for just one season and barely set foot on the field due to a series of injury problems.

The campaign to prevent this return took the form of a petition, posters plastered around the city of Bergamo and even a heap of rubbish poured on to the gates of the villa where Vieri was meant to be staying.

Considering such a poor reception, it is reported Bobo preferred to look elsewhere and is aiming for his first playing experience in England.

According to the Daily Star, Vieri has agreed a £10,000 per week contract with Hull City.

It is certainly not his first foray abroad, as he was top scorer in Spain with Atletico Madrid and played in France with Monaco.

Vieri speaks fluent English, as he spent much of his childhood in Australia.

Keep it up Vieri. If 10.000 won't be enough, you can still and sue us again for some extra soldi :)

Unfortunately, Vieri's ego will not let him retire from football. I think he risks tarnishing his career for the way it went downhill following his departure from Inter and the way he continued to prostitute himself to other clubs, with Hull being the latest. The word prostitute has extra meaning here because it appears he will give his services to any club that is willing to pay him money. In my opinion, he should have retired after Monaco, or alternatively, at the end of the season that has just passed.

I think it is right time to bring good old memories about this "legend" :D

And how is he still here anyway?

Vieri(alongside Ronaldo) wasn't even a guest for our centenary celebrations. I guess that says it all what the club thinks of him.

Didn't he sue us enough ??

Leave his attitude, outbursts alone. He is there on his merit.
