Vieri Nerazzuro once again! I've always admired Atalanta and I consider their Ultras to be one of the best in all of Italy.

I wish Vieri all the best, like usual, no matter where he is.

Vieri Vs. The World Christian Vieri's negative spiral continues as he was a protagonist of a late-night incident in Milan yesterday.
12285_news.jpg

The former Inter striker was approached by two Sampdoria fans in a popular restaurant of the Milan downtown area.

The duo was apparently irritated with Vieri for choosing to not play with Sampdoria this summer, as they apparently handed him over a piece of paper that read ‘You are a piece of s***’.
This spurred a reaction on behalf of Vieri and his entourage, that included some Inter Ultras. The latter got up and began chasing the two Sampdoria faithful who ran into a nearby restraunt where shortly after they were met by their antagonists.
A few punches and a chair flew around before Vieri intervened to try to calm things down. No major injuries were suffered by the people involved, and no charges were pressed by the couple that started it all.
A series of injuries and a lack of motivation have caused Vieri's career to fall apart in the last two years.
From being considered one of Italy's best strikers he is now on his way to retirement.
This year he has decided to play for Serie A minnows Atalanta, with whom he will be earning 1,500 Euros/month.

Him to Samp was agreat move for Vieri, I just can'tbelieve he left it, the first mistake was leaving Inter for Milan, then moving to the French league, he's doing it all wrong

Haha.

You won't need to find nominees for that award.

But that said, Atalanta's facing a risk. Bobo might explode again and net 20 this year. But he probably won't :)(), so Atalanta has done a good deal. Unless Bobo has a clause that says he'll take every single penalty :p

Well, at least he's on minimum wage  He won't hit free-kicks, penalties, he will hit corner kicks :p

And when he's on scoring position, the holder of the ball will either shoot it, or pass it elsewhere :p
That;s the board's instructions to the team :D

Nah, there was another post claiming that using racial slurs against players is a good tactical move.

Hold on, it was by the same person

Bobo is not a very stable person...
with that type of person, you don't listen to much to what he says... just see what he do...

For my defence I never knew Vieri had a 100,000 dollar bonus for each goal he scores. I couldn't believe it and had to do some research.

But Vieri did turn down offers from TV Stations in Italy, so i still think he has a passion for the game.

Lol, hope that was sarcastic, is that how you show your passion for the game, by turning down (for now) offers to appear in reality TV shows? hahaha

Vieri is useless and washed up. His transfer to Sampdoria was a joke and the fact that he is now on Atalanta's books is a waste. They should not be worried about having to give him 100,000 for each goal because it will be a miracle if he plays a game letalone score goals.

When Vieri was on the wane at Inter he blocked the progress of another player playing in his position. Atalanta have a great youth system and it is sad that Vieri is occupying a position that may otherwise be taken by a promising youngster.

The following article is icing on the cake and simply confirms that Vieri is a dog. He should be removed from the La Grande Inter thread.

Moratti attacks Italian media
Wednesday 4 October, 2006

Massimo Moratti says he was satisfied after his meeting with Francesco Saverio Borrelli on Tuesday, but insists that Inter are victims of a media conspiracy.

The Nerazzurri owner was heard by the Italian Football Federation chief investigator in connection with the Telecom scandal and the accusations of former referee Massimo De Santis, who Inter allegedly ordered to tail and spy on in 2002.

"I don't really think I should comment on what we told each other, out of respect for Borrelli and his staff,” said Moratti.

“Everyone was very attentive and nice with me. I think we clarified all the important issues and I hope there will be no need for me to return for another hearing,” added the oil tycoon.

The Nerazzurri chief is convinced that those who have paid for the Calciopoli scandal are now trying to drag his club’s name through the mud and is unhappy with the media’s reporting.

“I have seen and heard so many things in the past few days,” he added. “This is unbelievable, but I will leave all the work to Borrelli.

“We have paid a very high price over the years from a sporting point of view and now we have become the target of a media system, which is managed by the same groups of power.

“I can only hope this will pass.”

Meanwhile, former Inter striker Christian Vieri – whose name was also included in the list of hundreds of phone interceptions by Telecom Italia – has confirmed that he is considering the idea of suing Moratti and his club.

“I am very disappointed,” Vieri is quoted as saying. “I gave the club five years of my life to only discover that they were spying on me.”

The FIGC will also investigate the Vieri issue in a bid to understand if there are the sufficient grounds for legal action.

Yeah, what is this talk of Inter spying on Vieri while he was playing with us? Were they concerned that he purporsely wasn't scoring against Juve/Milan regularly?

Really weird!

Inter vs Vieri
If that's so then the credibility of the club could be hit hard, and the players today may feel insecure

you said it, i think vieri started to think he was bigger than any club and thought he could jump from one ship to another, we all know how that ended.
