He did his best to fuck it up with the stupid 3-man defense and his retarded subs in the last game, thankfully he failed.

How anyone still wants him here next season is beyond me.

The issue is, there is no one else that would be good for the Inter Bench other than Simeone, maybe Pochettino. Simone Inzaghi would be a good name to think about in the future as well

Everyone else is trash or i dont want to see on that bench.

Damn, I got so nervous that I switched off the channel but just couldn't NOT watch either. Just when I had switched on, in few seconds, I had to see that !!

When did away to Chievo become a tough away game? Lol.

Their record is 2-4-11, 3rd worst away record in Serie A. Or should my reaction actually be, holy shit Valero beat the 3rd worst away record team in Serie A?

I mean, gosh. I don't even hate Valero, but what the hell is with his followers? This obsession is almost becoming like Crz with Guarin.

When Valero is shit shit on him, no problem with that. But he was ok this game and he deserves some respect here. Cancelo had a much worse game but nobody shits on him.

Err no, I never said Chievo would fight like dogs.

Just because Inter chokes every game, doesn't mean the opposition is actually good.

They are two separate things.

And I don't understand the notion on why no one is criticizing Cancelo like they do with Valero. People clearly are, in his thread. Go and read it. If you feel the intensity isn't anywhere as high as for Valero that's only because Cancelo is about 10 bad games away from it. I can guarantee you people won't go easy on him just as they didn't for Perisic and Gagliardini.

I don't understand why some is struggling to fathom the fact that the intensity of criticism is often directly proportional to the number of poor games. And consecutive poor games often exponentially increase people's reaction to these performances. It's not a difficult concept, and it happens everywhere outside FIF. I guess most people just aren't very observant to what is around this world.

Any more questions?

Also Valero or a playmaker will get will get criticized more than a full back will because of their respective roles and impact on the team.

while chievo is a fairly poor team this year, their record AT HOME (which is where we played) is not that bad : 5-6-6, for 21 points, a mid-table 12th. Of the bottom half teams chievo is the one with the biggest home/away differential.

as far as valero, i think that for 60' he is ok, and he had a decent game in verona. to me his ideal role would be to sub rafinha in the last 20'. unfortunately gags injury forced him in the starting position until vecino gets a bit more minutes under his legs.

i think the chievo game illustrate perfectly the problem we have with the short bench: we were obviously struggling, but there were no subs i could even hope for that would conceivably provide a spark from the bench or improve the product on the field. In that sense, while i like karamoh, probably starting with candreva and putting karamoh in in the second could be better.
the santon-karamoh switch was terrible IMO (should have put candreva in, or no one), while the vecino-valero was correct, although vecino clearly turned out to still be not ready (which justified starting borja). let's hope he is by saturday. the critiques of vecino on the goal however are largely are unjustified, as there was a clear foul on him.

There's not an away fixture in Serie A that someone on this forum won't be moaning about the difficulty of, except maybe SPAL and Benevento.

"It's always tough going to Bergamo." "Fiorentina are always tough in Firenze." "Chievo are organized at home."
