A summary of Milan's win this CL.

Group Stages.
You had Lille, AEK Athens and Anderlecht in your group. And yet you just managed to qualify, losing to Lille at home, and to AEK Athens away from home.

Round of 16.
Struggled against an extremely easy opposition of Celtic. Required an Injury time magic from Kaka. Were extremely lucky to escape a penalty call in the second leg.

Quarter-final.
Played against Munich. A team in decline. They were having a horrible time in Bundesliga at that time, and slipped to 4th spot. So hurray for you guys, you defeated a team, that was Behind, Shalke, Stuttgart and Bremen in the standings.

Semi-final.
Played against the most overrated team of all time. ManU have never been good in CL in the past 5 years, and it was their EPL hype that was creating their image as some kind of heroes. And oh yeah, they were the team, that had an even easier passage to semis, than you guys.

Final.
Played pathetic in the final, but somehow won. Liverpool some how manage to get results, but at the end of the day, they are really not a good team.


You guys didnt play against the likes of Barcelona, Valencia, Chelsea and us, who IMO were the 4 best teams in the tournament.
Teams like Roma, got surprise results against Lyon, Liverpool got surprise result against Barca and Chelsea, but at the end of the day, these teams were not good enough to show that kind of form consistently, and Milan managed to take advantage of that. I have a feeling, if we had your route to the final, we could have easily been champions.

Still taking nothing away from you guys. At the end of the day, its winners that people remember, and not How they won.

Its easy saying how you would of won the CL if you had to face the teams we faced, but I can put every thing on the line to say you would not have got past Celtic/Bayern. Call it harsh or whatever you just bottle it whenever it comes to the last stages of the CL.
