Basel are no pushovers. They can be a challenging opponent. Though if the side goes onto the field and plays its A Game then I'm sure they can be beaten.

FORZA INTER :star:

Well maybe they are ahead of us in preperations and stuff but Whats this, ''we're lucky to escape Benfica'' bollox. Why should we be wanting to avoid teams? You can respect teams, but you shouldnt be afraid of them. I wouldnt ever care if we get Real Madrid.

To be the best you have to beat the best.

No, we aren't afraid of them. But it's better to face the bests later. And I don't think we are or should be aiming to win the CL next season. Our aim, considering our disastrous last season, should be to proceed to the 1/4 final. It'll be silly to face a good team in the preliminary rounds as it reduces our chances of participating in next year's CL.

Anywayz...
Maccabi Tel Aviv beat HJK Helsinki and will play PAOK Saloniki in the final round.
Maccabi Haifa will play Rosenborg who beat Sheriff.

Good luck to the Israeli teams and Riku, better luck next time :)

Monaco are all but through to the group stages with a 3-0 win away to Gorica. Mohamed Kallon (2)  :cry2: and Javier Chevanton scored for Didier Deschamps’ men.

LOL Kallon isnt better than Ventola... hmmmmmm

Well, Haifa lost at Trondheim 2-1 which still leaves a good chance to qualify. Maccabi Tel Aviv will probably get a 3-0 technical victory over PAOK for playing with a banned player.

So, there is a good chance we will see 2 Israeli representetives in the CL :proud: Indeed history.

I wonder if one of them will be drawn against Inter. :hopefull:

It really sucks that we got Kallon and him doing so well for Monaco is proving that. Like I said b4. I would have rathered Cruz, Ventola, and Choutos to leave b4 he did.

Anywayz hopefully Djurgarden can defeat Juve at the Del Alpi. That would so freakin AWESOME :star:
