My first match thread, mostly for irony's sake as Inter play the squad that bears my last name [and also where my Italian roots begin]. Looking forward to seeing if this really is a turning point for our team, off the win against Napoli and Eto'o will return from 3 match ban. Forza Internazionale!​

Tough game, Catania are a very good home team, they survive in serie a each year almost sololy on their home performances.

Confidence should be high though (for everyone except Milito) and Eto'o will be back.

This would be my formation as well. Or play chivu, zanetti in midfield, and Milito on bench. As bad as pandev plays, milito is even worse atm.

I'd go with the same line-up except replace Cafe with Ranocchia and Pandev with Eto'o. Those kind of games are always difficult when smaller teams host us at their stadium and try to get anything to please their fans. Maxi Lopez and the non-stop Mascara are the players to watch although I see Morimoto keeps getting praises but never really convincing to me.

4 midfielders is important, playing Pandev behind the forwards is too much like a 433 and basicly takes away the entire purpose of the 4 man midfield.
