Exactly. IMO the risk (Tevez wanting to go home) versus stake (30m€ or even more) relation is just not good enough for Inter.

He's a workhorse, our midfield sucks and he is able to track back get the ball and move forward, I've seen him many times playing like Eto'o under Mourinho practicly as a defender, defensive midfielder.
He would fit Inter very well in my opinion. I only worry about his price.

Afaik he's voted top player by the other players or someting like that, absolutely top class EPL striker. But getting him should be our priority

I don't get how you people give so much importance to that statement about him being sick of everything and wanting to go home.

Did his performance and commitment drop before that? NO
Did his performance and commitment drop after that? NO

So where is the problem? If anything he is far more professional then 90% of primadonas that have ambitions to win everything but there commitment/contribution drops very fast once things start looking ruff. If the man signs a contract he will do the job, the only downside is the salary.

As far I'm concerned he can cry all he wants but the minute he steps on the field he gives 100% and that's all that matters IMO.

Yeah, and don't forget. There aren't many Argentinians at Man.City. Here at Inter we do have enough Argentinians. Sure that Zanetti will make him feel welcome at Inter :D

i rather we buy benzema while mourinho is at Real, he will be less expensive and Alexis Sanchez than 40m tevez. Benzema is a great player and still young remember him at Lyon, he just being mistreated at Real we shuld sign him and sanchez.

I would take Benzema and Sanchez any day. Then focus on the midfield.

No other names. Thanks.

No way. Sanchez/Robben and Sahin/Fabregas.

Why Tevez? Old, fat, homesick, too expencive, hugest salary. Close this thread again, please.

Old? Is he Benjamin Button? He'd easily outrun Eto easily and thats saying something.

Fat? Ok.

Homesick? Sick of english weather.

At 7m a season Tevez is a super player. I'd sign him and let go of Milito and Panda.

7m€ is not fine unless you are Eto'o like player. We can't afford to have players that expensive when FFP comes. Eto'o is so good that we can have him, but it means we have to have lesser players in our squad. If we get another player with his massive salary, it means we will have even more lesser players. IMO Tevez's quality doesn't correspond to his salary so that it would be wise to add him + more lesser players than now.

If Tevez is willing to take a serious paycut, it's a different matter. And like Hasan said, get rid of Milito, Pandev and their salaries (i.e. we don't pay part of their salaries) first, then we can talk.

Do we have a good source on Tevez 7m salary btw (or is that just an estimate you guys are using)?

Estimate the media is using. Though somewhere it's estimated that he earns even more in ManCity. £7,5m€ per year. I've also seen reports that his weekly salary is bigger than the £145k which is used in this Times article.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/manchester_city/article6831582.ece

Anyway, he has to take a pay cut since I seriously doubt we would be willing to pay EVEN 7m€, let alone more. It's not reasonable and our management most probably understands this.

one year later tevez will get homesick no matter where he go. we should open a BENZEMA thread and forget about 40m tevez. Benzema has a good strike rate and will work harder than tevez. Benzema and sanchez is mu wish.

SE SALTELLI....
Why should we open a benzema thread for when we have no link to him what so ever.

Tevez has more skill and talent in his left pinky then benzema has in his whole body. He is not the type of player we need for this team, so pls stop flooding every single thread with this benzema BS

Tevez would be an excellent signing. It would also give a huge impact on the team. He will gain respect immediately. We all agree he's waaaaaay beter than Pandev. Whatever you all say , he can play all the positions in the Attack. Eto'o was never a wide attacker too. And it's not that his like he's like Milito /Pazzini those are goalscorers at one position. Tevez has stamina, speed, leader capacities, can score, can give assists, has flair... Sanchez hasn't proven shit at International level. But we can take the risk, I like Sanchez too. But Tevez is better .

Dont know about you Cafe, but I dont see any negatives in getting Tevez. Im a miser when it comes to giving out contracts, but Tevez is still a steal at 7m. Milito+Panda+Suazo+Obinna contracts are all big, with them going we can easily pay Tevez 7m and still have enough wages for another star player.

We cant get better than signing Tevez and Robben this summer. If we somehow miraclously manage these 2, pretty sure another treble is possible even if we dont sign a mid.

@HasanAnd seriously if he can run as much as he does he can weigh a tonne. The dude isnt fat no matter whatever you say. I've read a lot of reports that he and his family doesnt like the weather. They want a more "latin" country to stay in....
