Last night on Rai Due's Domenica Sportiva that cretin Tosatti began a tirade on how Spinelli screwed Livorno and how he made a gross mistake when he sacked Donadoni and especially when he brought in Mazzone as a replacement. He also went on to say how Mazzone took Bologna down last season etc. Some minutes later, Mazzone called by phone and was let live on air and told Tosatti "You are here only thanks to your father" at which point they broke off the connection.

Seeing Tosatti's face after that was priceless!

Mazzone may be a riomista but I take him over presutuous reporters like Tosatti any day!

The update should be that Moratti isn't as crazy as the late 90's. We hardly made a big deal since Vieri's arrival. The rest were made after selling starts and using that money.

Spot on, Hamed. Although I would argue that the last blockbuster deal we made was not in 1999 when we bought Vieri but in 2004 when we bought half of Adriano back from Parma. My opinion is that the Adriano deal was financed a lot by Moratti's personal cash because I clearly remember that we were out of funds in 03/04 season. But before & after that Adriano deal, yes, I can't recall any moves that justify Der Kaiser's allegations.
