Firmino, you're an idealist while JJM is a realist...and JJM has that balkan blood/emotions which makes him overreact a bit (that's why we love him), but he is right though...

We will not qualify for CL in my opinion...with such a bad start to the season we should know we would not get many chances to bounce back...we are winning against "smaller" teams but in the games against Jube and especially this one against Roma, we should have made a statement...that's what great teams do in that situations and we're just not their yet...we have to be perfect until the end, but i doubt we can win 95% percent of the games...

Next year there are 4 spots for CL in Serie A (if i'm not mistaken) so lets hope for a strong mercato and finally make that push for CL...no apologies next year!

who said that it will be a year zero next year? this year we started making chances and it was Suning's first year in charge...this year we were finally and somewhat still are (at least theoretically) in the chase for CL, this year was year zero, next year we will only add to this squad and not rebuild it once again as we did last summer...

anyway...to stay on topic, we have to win against cagliari...not just to stay in the "race" for CL, but to grow in character most of all...we have to start learning from defeats like this, which we didn't do well in previous years as it looks like

someone made a list of our,Napoli's and Atalanta's matches,forgot Lazio a bit for the 3rd spot race...we still have chances but...Napoli hit a snag lately but so have we...let's find out who will fuck up more and who a little less...
Atalanta ending up 3rd would be a miracle of epic proportions...which might not be too good for Italian football overall

I still believe! Honestly I still think it's doable, and I don't even think we have to win all remaining games to do it. But the essentials are Atalanta and Napoli. I think IF we get to the stage where we've beaten Napoli, those last 4 games we will not choke and win all of em. Just gotta get there with enough points. The Milan game will also be important, if we beat them our confidence for the Napoli one will be very high. Even if by beating Napoli the difference is 1 point (I think we'll be ahead) I still think we can have em.
