Oh Mancini!? ooooh Mancini? I've stood up for you before, but not this time! The ******* is not tactically sound! starting with a trident! Benching Solari! (who became man of the match),The absence of a playmaker! too many holes. It seems the matches we expect him to win he disappoints and the ones we want him to be competitive he slacks off! This is what we feared but it's not too late; its still the beginning of the season: one thing is for sure unless we win the scudetto..... Well? you know the rest. And it's obviously his last season! but exactly what is the plan after him? Lippi? I don't know!

and who knows whether those coaches will come at the end of the season.

in other words, this is what you blokes are saying.....

'lets wait and fark up so then HOPEFULLY one of those coaches joins us at the end of the season'

how do you know whether a new COACH will be more disastrous, please....give me the lottery numbers for this week then. It's an assumption, thats it, theres no facts.

I've always said and I'll repeat this again, if Mancini is to be sacked we MUST only replace him by bringing Mourinho or Capello. I don't think anyone can doubt the capabilities of those two and their ability to change losing teams to winning ones.

whats that crap mr forum moderator?he made his way back to the 16 yard box from the midfield and the scorer wasnt even his player,he showed commitment to come and help his defence and you write this shit.
Even the usually thick commentator noticed what I just said. So I would suggest you go and watch the goal episode again by rewinding it 45sec and only then you may comprehend my point.
Further are you suggesting I should give credit to every player in every game just because I’m a mod!? Believe me I’m not here to please people around here. Unlike most members I don’t have a fetish for certain players and can judge them objectively and that inc our captain.
Deki was decent yesterday however unfortunately for him that mistake of his cost us the goal. I believe he even agreed that he let his player slip away in his post match interview.

The way i see it,if Inter doesnt replace Mancini with some1 like capello or mourinho ..you know couches who can perform miracles then dont replace Mancini. The goals that we are suffering from are individual mistakes or we have to admit that our opponents are just better than us. the thing is that our attack should compensate for these mistakes but unfortunately it isnt..
after the break we should see some improvements after our players get back from injury and suspensions but its really ironic, when Inter bought all these new players i thought we have so many players that we wont need all of them and some wont even play this season or players play in other positions..look now we have shortage in midfield and our forwards arent performing that well.

I don't think that he lied. The guy said "we tried" which was true, but they failed to impose their game.

If you say: "I will try"... you're faking yourself.... because if you say you will try it, it will almost always fail. And than you can say : yeahhh we tried....

You have to DO it... not to TRY...

A disappointing result and some disappointing tactics from Mancini. I guess the plus is that the team didn't lose, but I hope Crespo and Grosso won't be out for too long.

DEJAN DEKI STAN
say what you want JAVIER ZANETTI,your posts are biased.

like i said earlier i watched the goal, and it could have as easily been maicons fault as much as deki's.but did you mention that NO.

And why, because you are BIASED mate.

and credit to dejan, not just for coming back to defend but because he acknowledged that he could have maybe done more,

still when you watch the game again, you will see that maicon was closer to colluci and should have done way more than dejan could have.

thats all frm me

LOL Gilardino, this is one of the most confusing posts out there, are you related to Durai? :D

I am not Pakistani and Max is Wittman, he is a Milanista member whom I regard as a model rival fan. He comes here and post without sarcasm (except about durai.com), doesn't gloat or anything and accepts the fact that he is in rival territory.

wtf man. that post was horrible. Give the guy a break, nothing wrong in trying a trident agaisnt a smaller team.

seriously mate, the poor bloke might suck overall for inter but be fair. He didnt have Cambiasso or Vieira.

So think about it wisely, Milan have almsot all their players and are doing badly.

Cagliari are never easy at home and for what we miss in midfield (most important area) it helps us defend, thats why we have let in a few recently..and it helps us attack, which we havent scored as much as we'd like to lately.

Common sense.

Adriano
I think that Ibra was better than Figo behind the strikers. And it is better to have Crespo and Adri up front than Ibra Crespo. ANd Ibra is good in role behind strikers. Figo does not come back in defense so is the same.

Now we only need healthy midfield.CAmbio and Vieira. And then give it a try.
I like trident attck and do not be fooled because Ibra is labeled as striker and Figo is not that there is any diffrence in defensive roles so if we play with player behind 2 strikers i perfer Ibra than Figo. Or Figo form the start then in 70 min Figo out Ibra on his positon and striker on ibras position.

Deki was following the guy all the way prior to when the cross came in – and that to me indicates one thing and that is Colucci was Deki's man and Deki was ball watching rather than checking his player when the ball was crossed into the area. Simple as that – after all if it wasn’t that evident then Deki himself wouldn’t act like a man and admit his mistake.
Further how come I never see you commenting on my posts or anyone elses for that matter when Deki is being praised for his performances (though they are rare but still happens). So stop acting like this and look at the bigger picture. I have and will criticize and praise our players when the time is right. Now if you have a problem with that then that is your concern.

Oh I can't deci
I havent checked it out for myself but the commentator mentioned that Cagliari only lost twice at home last season. I dont know how reliable he is because later on he also said that Moratti is very loyal to his players and coaches.

Cagliari had 6 wins, 11 draws and 2 loses last year at home, the commentator was in fact right. That is good example of how hard is to beat Cagliari at home, although I agree, as some of you said, that last year's Cagliari was better than this year's.

No way man last year's Cagliari was pathetic and their home form is what kept them up. Last year away they had 2 wins 4 draws and a stunning 13 losses, only Lecce who were in disarray for the longest time has more away losses.

Anyways this game was suicide from the start, Mancini tried a trident ans to be frank it sucked. There was just not enough midfield support nor forward back tracking to support that system for any extended period of time. Crespo getting injuired was a huge blow but it at least forced Mancini's hand into bringing on Solari who was a livewire out there. Seeing what he did out there made me wonder why he was not included in the starting line up.

The second half was played at a walking pace and you could see the tiredness slowly seep into player's legs and faces.

I dont know how many of you were watching the Fox soccer channel feed but who got confused by the commentator's mentioning that Dacourt had been redcarded? It did appear as if he had been booked a few mintues prior to his "official" yellow card and the commentators were positive that he had gone off. However I could still see him on the pitch and even playing the ball. When I checked the inter website it said that the first card had actually been given to Maicon and not Dacourt so I was relived that Messina had not pulles a Graham Poll.
