Silverwing is one I remember reading if you can find it. It's a series I'm pretty sure.

sure you would have something like The Little Prince, Roald Dahl books, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Catcher in the Rye … but I would recommend these out of my head right now, not so usual

The Wind in the Willows - Kenneth Grahame
Calvin and Hobbes - Bill Waterson
Goodnight Punpun - Inio Asano

I have the Wind in the Willows. I have to check the others. Thanks. Strange, I don't have that. Maybe I was in the process of ordering.

I'm going to do inventory of my books, so it would be easy for you to suggest a new one.

Thanks for the suggestions. I would have never guessed some teenage reading books. Ordering Artemis Fowls books and Percy Jackson series books.

Ordered:
Wind in the Willows.
Anne of Green Cables.
Trials of Appolo-5 book set.
To Kill a Mockingbird.
Fahrenheit 451.
The Catcher in the Rye.
The Divine Comedy. Inferno.
The Archer.
Robinson Crusoe.

Since I'm in a tight budget, half of it it's my sister's Christmas gift to her. I try to allocate at least 50 dollars a month for her books.

I don't think Catcher in the Rye is a book for a 8 year old. Shit gets depressing, quick. That's more a book for when she's 14, 15.. so yeah, don't give her that book too quick :D

Generally, not a big fan for soft cover books, but they work in a box set.

Do you have any library nearby? Go to go and let kid browse and choose out of curiosity, reading in library is also a good experience
