Since I'm in a tight budget, half of it it's my sister's Christmas gift to her. I try to allocate at least 50 dollars a month for her books.

I don't think Catcher in the Rye is a book for a 8 year old. Shit gets depressing, quick. That's more a book for when she's 14, 15.. so yeah, don't give her that book too quick
