Well when we were all in one (Yogoslavia) we were one of the best and there are many player who are legends. But from Macedonians, Darko Pancev on the first place, Georgi Hristov on second, and Oka Nikolov on third. But I think that Goran Pandev will pass all of our players. He is still 22, and he is playing great.
Pančev for me is one of top five of all ex Yugoslavia, he didn't play for Real or Barca but he was playing for the best team of that time in Europe, and they woned last Cup of the Champions(after that year, think 91, is started CL), and Pančev was unstopblle, don't think Pandev can over him.

Here are some good players from my country Azerbaijan:

Gurban Gurbanov, he already retired. One of his gratest games was against Yugoslavia, when we were 2 goals down in Podgorica and he socred two goals to make it level. Then we played agaun in Baku. Yugoslavia was leading 1:0 till the last minute. Then it was penalty and Gurbanov scored it on 90th minute, and then in added time Farruh Ismayilov made it 2:1 to Azerbaijan

Zaur Tagizade, his great goal against Portugal in Baku, between Vitor Baia legs :D and one against Slovakia when we won 2:0 :)

Rashad Sadigov, strong central defender and our current captain. Plays in Turkey with Kayserispor :)

Shir-o Palang-e ASIA

Mehdi-e Mahdavikia!!!!!

for Iran I can't decide...I will only judge on players I have seen myself and the 3 most brilliant players were Mahdavikia, Azizi and Bagheri.

From the old school and stuff I have seen, there's only the great Soltan Ali Parvin.

Well, they are both attackers, but much different tipe of strikers. Pandev is faster, better dribbler, he can play on more positions. While Pancev was like Vieri, he new when to go in the box, how to escape from offside etc. Maybe Pandev will pass him, maybe not, the time will show ;)

EDIT: And Pancev played for Inter, did you know that?

He wasn't. I'm not sure if he had even one appearance in serie A. I know he played few games in the cup, and scored few goals, but I can't really tell. Inter fuked up his rich career, like to many players. Anyway, he was a legend. Now he is married, has kids, and has nothing with football. He received an offer from Vardar to be sport director, but I don't know if he accepted it...

I do support tham, normally. I love Vardar, and now Rabotnicki will play in second qualification round in CL. Everybody is optimistic and we will probably win. Then against Lille. And I will surely go on Gradski.

Same with NT, I will surely go on every single game in the EC qualification.
