I won`t put Spaletti tenure in Banter era. We qualified for CL in both seasons and even with all the problems and fuck-ups, we could see that was a kind of plan to build the foundation. In this regard Cancelo and Rafinha don't belong to the banter era.

To me the banter era began when we sold Thiago Motta in the winter transfer window, because from gameday 20 to gameday 27 we only won 2 points. We ended the autumn&winter half part of the season on fourth place and then we got properly fucked. 6th place that season was actually kinda lucky for us.

So yeah, if you want, you can count the whole season, it was proper chaos with 3 coaches we had and us winning both games against Milan which is also one of the reasons why they didn't win the league that season 4 points behind Juventus
