I just hope what he means by 'youth development' after his retirement is developing baby Ausilio.

Here is the latest from Don Beppe:

It’s a great satisfaction, the best part of the party has yet to come,” Marotta told DAZN before kick-off against Torino, as quoted by FCInternews.

Inter players will celebrate with the fans in an open-top bus parade after the match, but Marotta won’t join the footballers.
No, I won’t. The protagonists are the players, the staff members and the coach; I’ll be waiting for them in Piazza Duomo,” said the club CEO.

Inter lost the Champions League Final against Manchester City last season, but Marotta feels the disappointment helped the Nerazzurri build their title-winning campaign.
“The group has improved, and we’ve gained experience, determination, and courage through defeats,” he said.
These are important prerogatives for achieving extraordinary results.

How has Marotta changed since the start of his career
“It is different when you manage a top team. There is pressure; you must make decisions and be responsible. You also need courage to make decisions despite criticism.

Marotta on Inzaghi’s future

“Today, we are free; I’ve told Inzaghi to enjoy this warm-up,” he continued.
We don’t want to miss a second of happiness today.”

There are rumours the Nerazzurri will offer their coach a new two-year deal.
He has passed the exam and the winning cycle has already started with him,” Marotta confirmed.
He has proved to be a good and winning coach. We want to continue with him, we are not even halfway on this path.”

Marotta on Inter’s ‘creative’ transfer campaign

How about Inter’s new signing and Lautaro Martinez’s contract extension?
“There will be so many games and competitions [next season], including the Club World Cup,” said Marotta.
The team must be strengthened and we must come to terms with sustainability. It will be a creative transfer campaign.”
Good luck in the mercato 🤞🏻

Marotta released several interviews on Sunday night, during Inter’s Scudetto celebrations, which included an open-top bus parade around Milan.

When the team arrived in Piazza Duomo, over 10,000 fans were waiting for them.

“I had never seen such a demonstration in terms of intensity and presence from the fans,” Marotta told Sport Mediaset, as quoted by TMW.
Glad that you enjoy the show!

Marotta admits Inter ‘lucky’ Lukaku turned them down

A journalist asked whether Inter prepared to win the title in July when Lukaku refused to return to the club.
“There is a component in life that is never considered enough, which is luck. In that case, we were lucky,” Marotta admitted.
“I can’t hide that he was a target, but things went differently. We built an attack different from the initial plans, but we knew about Thuram’s worth and Lautaro’s confirmation. Then, we brought back home a certainty like Sanchez and Arnautovic. We are still the most prolific attack.”
Thanks Romelu👌🏼

Marotta confirmed that Inter would sit down to discuss Simone Inzaghi’s contract extension.
“We surely want to extend it. Everyone at the club, starting with the President, feels this cycle can continue in the future,” he said.
“He [Inzaghi] has been improving since he arrived, proving to be a winner who works in sync with the club and the directors. We want to consolidate this model.
We knew about this. Do it

Marotta previously said the Nerazzurri would do a ‘creative’ summer transfer window, so what should Inter fans expect?
I am already thinking about the No.21, the next Scudetto for Inter, and many other targets for next season like the Champions League and the Coppa Italia,” said the Nerazzurri director.
Furthermore, the extraordinary Club World Cup. There are many objectives, but I always think the Scudetto should be the first one because winning in Italy is always difficult.”
🇮🇹#21 here we come

I think the challenge would be only Juve if the new coach motivates them and change their playing style. Milan, Roma, Napoli are not there yet. Atalanta, Lazio are far away from challenging the Scudetto.

Gobbi's issue isn't only coaching. Their team is mediocre af actually. They need to make quite a few changes in the line-up, and that doesn't guarantee an immediate success. If we don't sell any of our key players, also while counting on Taremi and Zielinski as new additions, I don't see any team sweating us actually. I don't mean to underestimate any team, but honestly we're just way too good for this league.

Hopefully Scudetto won't get in our head, so we remain humble and hungry for more. Only we can damage ourselves at this point. If the boys remain focused and want to win more, it's more than doable.
