As I thought, it's not only the foot that counts, so Eto'o was offside without any shadow of doubt since 2005's rules, but would have been onside if this happened prior to 2005.

I watched a replay now (with the virtual line) and Eto'o was totally on line (even with the body) so there's no discussion about.Anyway the rule changed lately,the 2005 rule is old according to what I've heard.
Do you prefer talking about the penalty not allowed to Eto'o in the first leg?

I thought every part of the body needs to be onside and not just the foot. The feet were in line, but the rest of Eto'o's body was clearly well ahead of Pranjic's. I have to look up the exact definition now because I'm confused. Not that it makes any difference at the end.

Its all about interpretation. I could have gone either way however, the defender's foot keeps Eto'o onside.

Believe it or not I became Inter fan because of my father and because of three germans that played with Inter. I was wearing both shirts Bayern and Inter (crazy right) since Bayern is my second favorite team. However, I was rooting for Inter. Bottom line is that I was hoping that the winner of this match goes all the way.
