How do you make that assumption? Well the truth is that my opinion regarding Cannavaro´s performances for us is 100% objective. ;)

You can believe me or not but despite my dislike for him and Ronaldo for that matter I´ve managed to remain neutral. :) That´s cold fact.

Wisdom is not lacking. ;) You don´t seem to agree with my points but saying it isn´t wisdom is just ridiculous. :p

So if I disagree with you on another topic am I in any place to claim that your points are lacking wisdom? ;)

There is a difference between opinion and valid points..I form my opinion on as much fact as possible.I try to be objective and not just input my feelings.I have disagreed with many ppl here but i understand that they have points, valid ones.In this case everything u try to point out doesnt make sense because its just based on feelings...and for once i think the rest of the forum agrees on that.

I am by no means a dictator that enforces my opinion, and u can take alook at any post of mine and u will know that...But i just dislike that points are made to be taken as fact when they are not based on anything.

We know u dislike Canna by now and rate him like Ronaldo, and u know that many of us here dont equal Canna to Ronaldo because Ronaldo was taking money while injured and when he got better he left..
Canna on the other hand was injured and still played and proved value that we see lacking right now..To me its too different cases.Plus Ronaldo wanted to leave us while we (Inter management) let go of Canna, without the coach or players wanting such a thing.

I will leave it at that..Visitors here can read both and really see who is trying to make valid points and who is just basing things on their feelings and equating a traitor like Ronaldo to Canna who we let go..

Suggesting that I form my opinion on feeling is true in the sence of how I rate Cannavaro as a person. ;)

Suggesting that I base my opinion of Cannavaro as a soccer player on feelings is NOT true. :irritate:

I do have an opinion about Cannavaro and it´s backed up well by both facts and valid points. And I´m getting the impression that you´re in denial of that fact. ;)

Everything I say in this discussion doesn´t make sence? Well you think so and I respect that. But you´re taking your disagreement with me too far by saying:

"I have disagreed with many ppl here but i understand that they have points, valid ones.In this case everything u try to point out doesnt make sense because its just based on feelings...and for once i think the rest of the forum agrees on that."

1) My points are indeed valid. For some reason you just simply fail to either understand them or you disagree with them.

2) I don´t base my points about Cannavaro´s abilities as a football player on feelings! And God knows why you assume that because nothing could be farther from the truth... :D

3) How on Earth do you jump to the conclusion that everyone disagree with you on this topic?!? :wth:

As a matter of fact I´m not the only person who consinder Cannavaro a traitor. Read the posts in the aftermath of the departure of Cannavaro and you´ll learn this. ;)

Furthermore you seem to portray me like I´m the only one who doesn´t think Cannavaro is that great. Which is absurd! Some people think Cordoba is better than him, others think Materazzi is better than him and some people think Gamarra is better than him. So I´m not the only one...

The truth is that I have some points, you can disagree with them all you want but you cannot know if I involve my heart in forming my view of Cannavaro as a player!! It´s simply impossible. :dielaugh::howler:

Can you read my mind or can you somehow be in my head?? :irritate:

Long story short: You seem to me as if you´re in denial of the truth which is that I do rate Cannavaro objectivally. :)

I never said you were like a dictator!! And it´s very unfair to me that you imply that I said that! Some people might think it´s true... :thumbsdo: So think next time you accuse me of saying such horrible things about you please think twice! ;)

Finally: Who says that everyone thinks the same as you: That I´m not making valid points and that those I make are merely emotional outbursts???

OMG... Are you some kinda of super human who can predict how people will judge things in the future?

You didn't have to watch many serie A games last season to know that Canna didn't play well. I saw many inter games in all the competetions and whenever I saw Canna he was very inconsistent. It's almost unanimous that Canna had a bad stint with inter. You can read it in the news, from official interviews or from the man himself.

As for his words in the interview, these are his words. It could be correct and it could be wrong. Personally, i think he didn't buy into the rotation policy, besides, if he wanted to stay with us, he could've easily done that. He could've taken a pay-cut and said publically that he is into the rotation system like many players did.

Finally, there is one fact to remember here. Cannavaro could've had a surgery as soon as he got the injury (January 2003) and took time-off to be completely healed. Instead, he got therapy -which meant little injuries will take more time to heal- and never played 100%. These were his words not mine, and the reason is for him to captain the NT, in other words Personal Glory.

There is nothing wrong with that, this is the chance of a lifetime, but if you do that then don't expect all of the inter fans to appreciate it. I'd rather have Canna save us a single goal in a match than seeing him captaining the NT. In summary, Canna didn't play his heart out for inter.

How do we know that Dr.'s didnt tell him that therapy is the best solution for him..?
He is playing now very well and the surgery could have prevented that..
Plus from what i know players that play with injuries get praise for their guts and putting themselves at the service of the team..well is that true except in this case..

If u say he needed a surgery why doesnt he do it now? Next major competiotion is in 06...Could he be healed with the therapy? Could the surgery have risked him being out for good...??

Shouldn't this discussion move to the Cannavaro thread? I'm getting sick of reading about him all over the place!

If they do it for the team, not for themselves. In fact, if he had the team in mind, he would've done it.

I guess he is afraid that with Lippi at the helm now, he might lose his captaincy after a long lay-off.
