Martins is AWESOME. He deserves a starting spot, so it's either Adriano gets his act together to partner him or Vieri will continue to start upfront.

Okay, let's not be jumpy and hasty. Martins is excellent and is a consistent player, no doubt. But he has his bad moments as well, sometimes he's invisible and sometimes he isn't.

The last game he made a mistake in the dying moments by blasting the ball out instead of simple-crossing to a near-by Vieri. All our strikers are excellent but none is perfect. Everytime here it seems that the one who scored the most recent goal is the best ever!!!
