True Adriano has to be in the starting lineup and with Oba in such good form it will be hard to put Vieri in the lineup but what I'm seeing is bobo is getting better every game and I can just imagine how amazing the attack would be if Bobo can find that old form.

This was a game hugely affected by the pitch and weather conditions..Thats why it would be a little unfair to be harsh on some players..That said many players could hardly handle any kind of ball coming in to them as well as distributing them..

I really hope against Palermo that we are a much better side since they are REALLY tough to beat.The good thing is that they might attack more than the teams we faced lately so we can take advantage of that..

Adriano - Martins,, means we wont use the flanks cause neither of them can head in proper way, so I still with the Vieri- Adriano option and one of them out and martins in around 15-20 min of the second half, his fresh and pace can turn the game in 5 min as he did before.

I am glad we managed a win in the cup and that what matters and we have a goal away and we kept a clean sheet and we are still unbeaten glad to see the pass from veron. good move by Martins and nice goal.

I think both of them can head really well especially Adriano who has headed a good amount of goals this season even though he was tightly marked..
I think that this misconception is the result of us not really having proper crosses for them to express that quality.I mean even with Vieri who is great at headers we dont utilize that by not giving him proper crosses..

You are totaly right Ziyad, Adriano can esaly score, but when he don't get prooper croses, you can't expect him to score more goals with his head. For crying out loud the Guy is a tower. And are extremly hard to mark. JUst like Vieri are, the difference is that Vieri is more experienced then Adriano is. And with having two who looks like each other our attacking force becomes to predicteble. With Martins we add speed up front, an our oppononet have to be extre carefull. And as I mentioned he is in a way better form then Vieri and therefore deserves to be a starter. It just don't make sence that you would rater have Vieri just because he is getting better, And we can't use what if to a God dam shit.

This was a good win considering the state of the pitch. I was happy to see Davids,Coco and Kily back in action and i hope they still have a future with us cause they have a lot to give when in form.

Firstly that pitch we played was a disgrace it wasn't fit for a top flight match IMHO Atalanta should be fined for producing such a shocker.

Players who played great where Burdisso,Emre and Martins.

Recoba didn't play well but like was said already didn't get many balls from midfield. which wasn't really the midfield's fault since they ketp slipping on the horrible pitch.

Veron and Davids improved in the second half.

Coco was crap. Ze maria was bad and Miha was average.

Burdisso was fantastic. He was the leader in the defence. Had a real go at miha and coco on a few occasions when they screwed up the offside trap by not stepping up. Mancio should give him a chance to partner cordoba vs palermo.
