can you name some armenian teams by chance??

I only know Ararat Yerevan..
and is Armanak Petrossian still playing for your NT??

btw. in Iran we have a big armenian community as you know. Some great players came from Ararat Tehran. Currently, we have with Adranik Teymourian another upcoming armenian player.

Our most famous teams are
Pyunik
Banants
Ararat
Mika

Ararat is a great team, which was playing in 1/4 of Champions league a could won Bayern Munich (with kaiser Franz) 1:0 :)
Armenak Petrosyan doesn't play now.

One of our teams (Kotayk) got the sponsorship contract with iranian team Esteghlal, so some Esteghlal pyaers were playing at Kotayk last season. :)

If interested, can write more

I don't know much about Armenian football, perhaps you (Edlaut) could give a small introduction of which are the best teams, the new players, the current state of Armeniam football, that sort of stuff.

P.S.: My favorite goals are numbers 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13.

yeah..write more. it's quite interesting.
I didn't know about that deal. esteghlal had a good armenian player called sebo shahbazian. he was once iran's most promising defender, but got never invited.
armanak is a guy everyone wished he was iranian, so he could play for iran. he is a great guy...

btw. what is the chance of djorkaeff senior becoming your national team coach?

Now on topic, what's the name of that Ajax player, 17 years old I think... I read on World Soccer that he was one of the best players on your league from the age of 14

His name is Edgar Manucharyan. He's an excellent player, but addicted to injuries, like Recoba. I don't think Cyprus could beat Armenia, if Edgar was playing :D
Check his 4 goals for Armenia during Hungary-Armenia 1:5

hey edlaut, i don't get to here much about armenian premier league, do you think Pyunic is a good enough team to represent armenia in any earopean comp's. i've read briefly about Ararat's efforts in 1973, it must have been a golden era for Armenian football!!, by the way is Harazdan stadium ever used these days for football, it would be great to see 70,000 fans watching a match, anyway hopefully we smash dirty Azerbajian in the euro cup Qualifiers!!

That third goal is GREAT, lucky, but deserved, what a shot. And the fourth is all class. An interesting player indeed.
