Armando Izzo
izzo-e1425494074684.jpg

Date of birth :2 March 1992 (age 23)
Place of birth :Naples, Italy
Height :1.83 m (6 ft 0 in)
Position :Centre back

So, according to Pedulla, we are negotiating with Genoa for him, probably loan with redemption to buy, and Laxalt could be involved in the deal.

Genoa’s Armando Izzo seems to be Inter’s main target for the defense. Today Alfredo Pedulla reported that Inter are getting closer to signing the Italian defender. The Nerazzurri have been following the player since mid December, and Izzo could replace the outgoing Ranocchia. There is a lot of talk about Inter acquiring the defender for a loan with a right of redemption, and a deal could involve Diego Laxalt (currently on loan at Genoa). The Genoa player has a contract with the Grifone until 2019 and currently earns 500 000 euros a year. A deal is yet to materialize, and Izzo is a real target for Inter.

Heard his name plenty of times. However I struggle to remember him for anything. Is he any good? Highly rated? Or just filler for the assumed departure of Ranocchia?

I think he is good, have potential to be established Italian CB.
Right now, I assumed he just a filler of Rano's departure.
But who knows, we probably try another Rano's project, young, potential Italian defender. Also from Genoa.

Except that the rumors say we are about to take him on loan with option to buy, doubt it would be even half of Ranocchia's price. I think we have nothing to lose if this really happens, plus we are in need of a CB, especially if we sell/loan Ranocchia.

i still think that Laxalt is better and can help us. But there is a obbligatory buy from Genoa so Inter wants Rizzo and not the 2,5 Milions.

Wow. I wonder if he can read and write. This is probably the best place to find talent though honestly, they probably take football so seriously because it's their only way out. They also probably can't afford playstations so they actually go outside and play football.

ffp is based on yearly periods. it makes all the difference. if we loan x this year and only drop the cash next year, ffp will count that buy on the next year.

I think he can only speak Neapolitan. There are a lot of people that can only speak their origin language (like neapolitan, sicilian, roman) but not Italian. This people are just ignorant, specialy if they have the money to learn better italian.

Inter have the market cornered for low IQ football players.

I realise.

But if the obligation is next year, and the option is next year, then it makes no fucking difference to our books whatsoever :)

Remember, the cash is typically transferred when new contracts are filed with the FIGC, which can only be done during the transfer windows, so even if like Dodo we have an obligation after he plays 1 minute, the cash and registration isnt updated until the next transfer window

he is 23, raw talent.

even if i tried harder i could not care less about his italian, but yeah, that "shave the children" made my day :D

I just think we have better alternatives in Rano and Andreolli as subs than Izzo, because lets be honest, he wont bench neither Murillo or Miranda... but for the sake of ffp bullcrap, id say - sell rano for more buy izzo for way less + much lower wages...
