Are you a try-hard Italian?

An Italian is someone Italian or of Italian descent... Anyone with Italian blood basically.

A try-hard is Italian is someone not Italian who acts like, e.g. throwing in Italian words here and there in sentences to make himself sound Italian. Possibly also wears Azzurri tracksuits and supports Italy in the world cup.

Most of the forum members here aren't Italian; were you directing your question at every single one of them, or simply at Handoyo? In any case, the answer is obvious. However, we do not fail to note the level of sarcasm used in the tone of your post.

Personal attacks do nothing but paint a pretty low picture of yourself. If you have a beef to take up with Handoyo, I suggest you do so in private via PMs or e-mail correspondence.

I'm not mandated to offer anybody a poll; the choice to do so is completely volitional. Why don't we skip the tap dancing and get straight to the point, shall we? What exactly do you hope to achieve through such public attacks on Handoyo?

As I have already pointed out, most of the members on Forza Inter Forums aren't Italian. By and large, being huge fans of this football club and Italian football in general, they would be considered, under your criterion, as the titular 'try-hard Italian'. Ergo, as the racial identities of our members are public knowledge, such a poll would be considered worthless. Again, what do you hope to achieve?

As for your question, it is silly. I like Italy, and respect it. But do you think it is so damn special that alot of people will spend their day trying to be Italians?

As Tim said, most of us here are't Italian. Since the team we like is Italian, we may learn the occassional word and use it. Doesn't make us try-hards or whatever pathetic word you used.

Respect yourself and your heritage and act like a mature person.
