We have a few people on this forum who might enjoy it? i know i do. personally IMO lately all music has been garbage. Haifa, Ruby? i dont consider that music

I know Hamed likes the khaleez music, but i like the more mainstream music from lebanon, Egypt etc..which artists u guys like? any particular songs? right now im listening to Marwa - Motreb Hamboli :redface: lol

Yes, you are right. The recent stuff has been mostly garbage, there isn't even one song that I like from the recent stuff. In fact, I've stopped listening to all the new stuff after being dissapointed.

I mostly listen to Khaleeji (Gulf music) but I also like others. I love Rai music, it's Algerian music. Although I don't understand 90% of what they say, the music is just magical.

I also like few lebanese songs, but I don't like some of the beats, mostly what's called Jabali, like some of Najwa Karam's songs. But I like listening to Maya Nassr, Wael, Fathl Shaker and old Assi El Hellani.

For some reason, I don't like the old egyptian songs, although they are classical and great. I don't listen to Oum Kalthoum, Fareed, Mohammed Abdel Wahab, but sometimes I tolerate Abdel Haleem

Some of my favourite songs:

Out of alot of garbage that comes out these days i got to say there are still nice songs...But thats like 1 out 20.Plus u have to filter the ones that are successful because of the babe fest....I swear some of these songs are worse than rap videos.

Najwa's old songs were great, really nice. But for the past 4-5 years, she is just producing average stuff.

I forgot to mention Ahmed El Jemairy, the Bahraini singer , he doesn't produce much, but I love his songs "Taw El Nahar" and "Shewayyekh" and Khaled El Sheikh as well, I love his old songs, Ainaki is a great song, and the lyrics are to some edgy. I remember him having to skip few parts when he sang it in Saudi

Amr diab to me is brilliant.
But lately, i can barely watch arabic TV. Its just terrible music.

Ah ya leil? You men her name, Sherina Ahmad, the dark egyptian singer, she is brilliant. The song was great, her vocals are great.

Hakeem is also fine, his beat and style are good when you want to feel happy. My favourite songs of his are Salam alaiku and Efredh. I also like listening to Hisham Abbas, and I loved one song by a singer called Mohammed Mohyee, called Leeh Beyfakkarooni.

And the video clips are a shame man, it's even worse than some of the wester ones on MTV. I don't know why they imitate them, do it in your own way

but theres also another ah ye leil song (i think its called that) but its a he.

Saber El Robaey has always been good.

Do you like Fadl Shaker? i think his awsome in some songs.

Yes, Fadl is good, specially when he sings Khaleeji. But also his shami songs are nice, Ya Ghayeb was really great :star: I just liked one song of Saber's, Sidi Mansoor.
