There has been a giant step for us as Ultras Ahlawy in making this tifo and we couldn't believe we did it, we really couldn't, 2 weeks of intense preparations, endless nights on making the cards, but we finally made it

These are good ones, but I noticed this is some navy stadium or something, didn't they use to play in another one (El Qahera?) stadium that was bigger and the stands went further vertically?

This is the Curva Nord of Cairo Stadium:
Cairo_Stadium1_430.jpg

The problem is that Cairo stadium is controlled by a governmental entity and is not owned by either Ahly or Zamalek, there had been trouble between Ahly board and that entity and as such the match was relocated to another stadium, historically, the Military Academy staium had held up derbies in the past, most notably the 2 legs of the Afro-derbies in 2005 Champions League between us and Zamalek

Not bad for a group that is just 9 months old in a country that has never seen such a thing?

Oh I see, Ahly's board seems to have trouble with everyone, actually I think all boards have problems :D

Yeah, not bad, if they keep it up they might be on par with the Tunisians and maybe more.

This might be hard for you, but do Zamalek have any such stuff? If so, please post.

Well here are the best two tifos for Zamalek's Ultras White Knights inwhih they enclosed their curva
both were against us, and in both matches they lost :D
Zamalek's group are the first to introduce the concept of making a coreo with cards, but we took it up a notch and made words with cards in response to them ;), I guess this is evolution :)

6000 Ismaili fans came to Cairo to attend the rivalry match between Ahly and Ismaily here in the Cairo Military Academy Stadium, which housed 10,000-15,000 people, they drew first blood and lit 10 flares, we lit up 18 as we scored our equalizer and the rescued the point that gave us the premiership title yet again this year.

Their fans are awesome, I remember back when I used to follow the league, Daraweesh had crazy fans.

Man, this military stadium doesn't make for a good atmosphere. I rather see the 100,000 or so that the Cairo stadium gets filled with, easily one of the best atmospheres around.

The rivalry between them and us is exactly the same as Inter and Juve, while the relationship with zamalek is the same as Inter vs Milan

The problem of matches between Ahly vs Ismaili is that unlike Ahly vs Zamalek, the fans are not always filling the stands, in derby matches it is always full, but in the matches with Ismaili, the stands are at best 3/4 full, and not 100% except if its a title match, as such we decided not to make a tifo, but then Ultras devils wanted, so they did their job and we of course assisted them and itturned to be good

Easily the atmosphere was tremendous, it was more firy than the derby as both sets of fans were oud and clear in their chants, I personally loved it.

I didn't light a flare this time, but I will next time surely ISA.

PS: We had 6 of our members caught with flares and spent the night in custody until yesterday morning

Ismaily and Al Masry are the two biggest and most supported clubs on the Suez Canal line of cities and represent the biggest 2 cities on the canal Ismailia and Port Said ion what is called the "Canal Derby or Rivalry" it ended 2-0 for the yellows and the Ultras Yellow Dragons made a simple action

Meanwhile, Ahly was playing their all important match in the end of the 3rd round for the qualifications to the group stages of the CAF Champions League which every single club on the continent has to go through, Ahly was down 2-1 away in South Africa to Platinum Stars and this match was relocated to the Cairo Stadium after work on the ground had been finalized and board disputes settled with the Cairo Stadium entity.
Ahly would go on and beat the South Africans 2-0 to advance on aggregate 3-2.

Ultras Ahalwy made this simple action

banners read: "Win For Us", "Togethe Forever", and "We Will Never Forget You Saleh" in referance to Saleh Selim, one of the greatest Egyptian players to have ever played for Al Ahly who had died a few years back.

Some on the top tier after raising the banners and stayed up to shout from upstairs, but we are normally seated in the lower tier, the guys responsible for the banners stay upstairs.
