Hopefully he will succeed and improve our game from what it has been in the past few years. We already have made a slight improvement under Spalletti but that wasn't good enough therefore Conte has a lot of work to do. I'm not going any further, other than wishing him best of luck.

Credit is due to Fotografie segnanti (literally, "photos who leave a mark") for this absolute gem.

Watch out, Lo Pagnelli (and Marotta fits the bill as Egg Shen).

Don't have one.
Since we are inter we have to set great goals for ourselves.

Great quote from the man, I am sure jube fans will be happy :D

Thought it was 9m plus bonuses? Ancelotti is coaching Napoli, they're playing for 2nd place not the championship, salary is justified. Klopps wages are certainly going up if not agreed already.

He's charakter fits so good with the Inter DNA and the fact that he was at Juve makes things just... i don't know, funnier? The enemy who is against he's old family and want's a revenche after what happend. Sounds like a new Netflix series, coming September 2019.

Benvenuto Antonio!

It looks (or we are deceiving ourselves) like Both Marotta and Conte came to Inter to prove rube were wrong to kick them out and we win trophies

On the other hand it maybe that Marotta came to destabilize Inter's dressing room just to make sure summer overhaul is needed, makes way for Icardi to get signed by rube, hires Conte under maximum wages. Conte comes to Inter and does some shit related with match fixing then we get busted and sent to serie B

I have my reservations about changing the playing style completely with every coaching change. But apart from that one big issue, Conte is a very competent coach and I hope he does exceedingly well. Conte is someone who can hit the road running, so if we give him some quality players, he can cut the gap significantly vs Juve.

With a new coach at Juve, maybe they will wobble this season. We need to be ready to take advantage. Forza Inter!! And even if it feels a bit weird to say this, Forza Conte!!

PS: Any clown here who talks about sacking Conte in the next 1-2 years shall face my wrath! :megusta: Now I am off to photoshop some images of Conte in an Inter shirt to post at various Rube forums.

OK, I'm not talking about firing Conte in 1-2 years, I'm hoping we fire him before the season starts.

Just out of curiosity, what would you guys consider success with Conte at the helm, because some people started claiming that Spalletti barely reaching CL spots, playing like crap and never really improving over time was a success while in my view he was a complete failure.

I'll say the bare minimum I would expect from Conte is 85 points next season and the Scudetto the one after, anything else would be a failure in my eyes.

And not it's not because I consider him capable of achieving that, but that's what I would expect from a top coach, and our management and many people here consider him at that level, plus certainly he's getting paid like that.

Scudetto is a bit of a reach as a requirement, the financial gap is still quite massive between Inter and Juve. But surely the requirement should be to at least contest with the Scudetto for real. I mean that if we fail to win Scudetto in 2021, it shouldn't mean automatic sack for Conte, no matter how the season has gone.

But obviously the goals should be much higher now since we gave Conte a big payday and apparently he's gonna get a considerable war chest for the summer.

I am very uneasy with this guy. I understand that he is a professional and he won a lot of stuff during the last few years. But most of his success came at Juventus , was one of their legend player and so on. He might be successfully at us but his history will haunt him to the last day at Inter. I don't want to think what would happen if this guy lose a few successful matches like Spalletti did during the last 2 years. It will be a complete shit storm.
Not to mention that he has a different playing style than this team had in the last few years. Not sure how most current players fit in his play style. My realistic expectations are that Conte will at least stop giving us heart attack for top 4 in the next years.

Well, now I can't wait for the new season to start.

Never been a Conte fan but can't deny he's good at what he does.

Hi guys, long time no see. But this news wake me up from a long sleep. :) I am more than happy to see Conte as a new coach. I wish him all the best and I really hope he will maintain his level of energy and wake up the sleeping giant.

Couple word about predictions and expectations...First of all, Juve will not be the same without Allegri, they will most definitely have less points next season. Second Napoli will be contender this year, that is for sure so with couple of brave moves in the market, good pre-season, injury less season we can be there, right at the mix. I predict tough Scudetto battle between the three clubs and almost sure top 3 finish with Conte at helm. With little bit of luck maybe at least one trophy!
